Had Putu as a room steward on the Equinox in January. Super friendly!

It is true that smoking is allowed in that bar. It is part of the Walking/Jogging track on the S Class ships. You need to go directly through it if you are walking.
This is one of the most stupid decisions Celebrity has made. Catering to people trying to kill themselves instead of people being active. -
Coral Princess is a great example of where I find the deck plans confusing. These are from Princess's website:
This is deck 8. To me, it looks like the balcony faces port and that's it.
Same goes for decks 9, 10, and 11:

Actually, most cruise line's ships do. Along with being popular, aft facing corner balconies are common on most ships. And on a number of ships they are among the most expensive real estate on board.
I have struggled with some deck plans that make it look like the corner cabins have traditional side balconies rather than wrap-around. I would find that so disappointing!

We love Carnival’s corner aft cabins on ships like the Glory and Sunshine, but don’t enjoy the Carnival experience. What other cruise lines have corner aft cabins with the wrap around balcony?
We’ve tried Celebrity’s S-class corner suites. The Celebrity experience was great but the balcony wasn’t as nice as Carnival’s. We’ve booked two more in these suites, but are not loyal to any specific cruise line.

Yup, Nino and his partner in crime Ali are both great! Same with Yan, Viktoria, and Aria on EQ Luminae. Just great people. Jesus was funny and great too, just never had him as our waiter.

Wanted to also chime in that Yan on the Equinox is great. Hope she’s still there this January.

Does anyone know who makes the verandah chairs for Carnival? I’d like to purchase a couple for back home. So comfy!

The Prime Minister has advised citizens to not go outdoors without respiratory protection. Free face masks are being handed out to the locals.

Two landfills are on fire here presently, contributing to a poor air quality situation unfortunately.

Which dining room is "Your time" dining on the Sunshine?
On the Glory it was the front dining room and there was always cigarette smoke from the casino wafting in which made it gross. I'd like to avoid the front dining room on the Sunshine.

Sunset (aft) is mtd - and some assigned and Sunrise (mid ship - one floor) is assigned.
Are you sure on this? Carnival.com shows the Sunrise as being aft and Sunset as being forward.
We hated the forward dining room on the Glory as all the cigarette smoke wafted in. We'd like to sit in the aft one on the Sunshine but don't know if that is "your time" dining or not.

Best I can tell it was saliva. Two huge gobs by where I had been sitting. Has not occurred since but still makes sitting out there disquieting.

We are currently enjoying our Eastern Caribbean Christmas cruise except find our aft-wrap balcony getting spat on from decks above. Guest services has been unhelpful. Does anyone have any experience or advice on this?
We paid good money for this stateroom and find we cannot enjoy it to its proper extent.
Dress code - what does evening chic amount to usually?

Did not see any difference in Luminae on Equinox last January. Just another night. Generally well-dressed folks.
