First time on NCL - very excited about the large number of different dining options. I’ve made reservations at 2 of the specialty dining. Do we need to make reservations at the complimentary restaurants like American Diner, O’Sheehan’s Bar & Grill, or is it walk up/wait list?

You’re probably right. The post I read said that VV arranged for the scooter….not necessarily renting it….but arrange the rental for customer. I think it was too good to be true, but I’ll call them and find out.

Gee….im not sure where I read it but I read a post somewhere recently that says Virgin can arrange rental of scooters and there’s room in the hallways to park/charge the scooter. I was so happy about it, but now I think someone posted incorrect info.

I heard that Monkeyland is in Puerta Plata. Can I go there on my own or does it need to be with a tour group. I can’t find any information that says you can do it on your on. Thanks!

Hi Everone - we just booked this cruise. We’ve cruised previously but it will be our first time with Norwegian Cruise. The reservations for dining at the Specialty Restaurants were made available 120 days before. The available reservations for the two restaurants we wanted Ocean Blue and the Steakhouse are basically booked all days until 9:00pm. On second sea day, they’re completely booked. We booked a couple of backups Teppanyaki and Italian, but wanted to ask a couple of questions. 1. Will they provide additional opportunity to reserve once we’re on board? 2. Or is there the possibility they will allow walk ins? 3. On Royal Caribbean, we were able to order lobster tail (for additional price) to go with our steak in the Main Dining Room. Does NCL do that per chance? Can you tell we’re really hoping for a steak and lobster!? I’m just not familiar with NCL at all. We’re really excited about the Teppanyaki and my husband likes Italian food, so we’re still good if it doesn’t work out. And we’re very excited to experience NCL. Thanks!
