I'm thinking onboard spend means additional money for spa, photos, specialty restaurants etc. A lot of cruise sites have tour options posted to give you an idea of what there is to do. Maybe if no price posted you could make a dummy reservation.

Don't know if this helps . I always take prepackaged protein/ granola bars, cheese/ crackers, pb/crackers etc. with us to hold us over til we get back to the ship.

I've always wanted to do an Arctic circle cruise but lately I've been thinking a lot about Iceland.
Traveling with DH and DS20 and the more I look at the Norway/Arctic Circle I'm afraid it's mostly scenery and not enough adventure/ shopping to keep the boys interested. Is that correct?
In your opinion, is it better to do an Arctic Circle cruise or a cruise that has some Norway and some Iceland?
Thank you for any thoughts on these two destinations.

How does a 19 yr old make friends on a ship?
in Ask a Cruise Question
Posted
He asked this question the other night. In the past he would head to the teen club and we would then see little of him the rest of the cruise.
He is very social and friendly. Never, with anything in his life, have I worried about him making friends. This question really touched me.[emoji17]
Thank you, Elaine
