  1. We did an AC and RCL skipped B for CocoCay.  We'll be back someday and include B.  Aruba we took the bus the beach and the feedback about the return bus was right, every one was packed and not picking up any passengers.  We ended up finding a van headed back to the port for a couple of bucks.  Glad to see that your Curacao trip includes the flamingos.

Around here, recovering the deductible from the other driver is called minitort.  It's an option to have it on your policy to automatically get it, otherwise you have to file for it yourself (small claims).

On a side note, we are thinking about going to NYC this summer, and from my initial research, I have found a few walking tour operators for various parts of NYC so will likely book a couple of those.

Personally speaking, I would rather pay someone a tip to show me some sites I would never have found on my own. Just walking around aimlessly and taking a few pictures without much insight is less interesting in my opinion.

Might not fit with your touring style, but we really liked Accomplice New York - https://www.accomplicetheshow.com/.  It's something different to anything we've done before and it's a lot of fun.  Both times we've done we've ended up areas of New York we wouldn't have otherwise gone through.

Weather in Cabo looks good for tomorrow.  Hopefully get to actually take a tender to port.  😉  We lowly quarterly subjects required to collect tender tickets in Safari lounge this afternoon.  😉

70 degrees, cloudy, with light winds.  Ahhh...perfect!  No tour scheduled, we plan on just walking around to enjoy the port city (we love Mexico)...and have a few subjects lined up to check out for a lunch spot.  🤗

Right in the marina, if you want something casual, I'd suggest Sanchos.

It’s possible. I almost booked Allure for August before I decided to go to Alaska. I was going to book one of those promenade balconies but the deck I wanted sold out before I locked it in.

That was the first one we did after our Disney phase with the kids and it was our favorite ship so far.  Our sample size is much smaller than yours though.

  5. Subscribed.  We got caught up in the whole Magic/Venezia debacle as well and sailed on I think the second sailing.  We had to wait months for our cabin assignment and went from our first suite booking, an ocean suite, to a random lower deck junior suite since they re-categorized all of the rooms compared to sister ships like the Magic.  When we got a call the day on the drive to NYC I was about to lose it (again), but with this last change they made it right and we ended up a Terrazza balcony on 11.  I wasn't sure if we were going to give Carnival another chance after how they handled this whole thing but looking on your pictures it's bringing back the good parts of the vacation and maybe it wasn't as bad as I remember 🙂

What’s supposed to be good at that Tim hortons?  Donuts?

what I had this morning wasn’t great. Went by before this and they were still on breakfast so I guess that’s all they do.

I think in Canada they have a larger menu, we sometimes see/hear commercials here for stuff they don't sell in the US.  Most everyone I know just gets coffee, my kids like the breakfast sandwiches on bagels.  They used to have a jalapeño bagel that I thought was good.  Never tried lunch with them.

  7. I think I saw that you were looking for the ship shaped ornaments? We collect those too.  We had to ask, but they had them in the back and not out on display.  First one had a broken nose but the second was fine.  Had the yellow stack w/blue C and the Carnival Fun Italian Style lettering on the bottom.

If you ever get a chance Yankees stadium is a fun place to see a game. Me and my oldest son got to see Aaron judge hit a home run last year fun times

We're going there to see a NYCFC game, but after watching a game in Comerica (Detroit), soccer games don't belong in baseball stadiums.  I heard there's a really good bucket of chicken we need to find though!

  9. I didn't make any promises that the chips would be good, just that they were Canadian 😁

There’s not a Tom Horton’s in this international area at least. I don’t think I’ve seen Labatt on tap here but I’ll keep my eye out. That’s what my uncle from Michigan drank. I had the bottles occasionally in the military. I have seen the bottles here but I don’t think I’ve seen it on tap anywhere.

I'm in Michigan and it's usually what's in my fridge. Interesting find on 1644, isn't it French so it fits in Quebec?

This is a weird situation. I went to check if my plane is here and on time and all that. My gate is on the other side of a security border. And it’s like Tom Hanks in Splash. If I go there, I can never come back.

At least you got a warning.  I got tired of waiting for a gate checked wheelchair since it was the middle of winter and I didn't have a coat so I went up the bridge to ask about it and got told I couldn't go back down again.

  10. Not sure if you'll find a Tim Horton's but that's a Canadian staple.  You should find Labatt Blue on tap somewhere but it's mass produced.  Poutine was a once and done for me, but I found it strange that they had fries everywhere including Taco Bell.  You can look for ketchup flavored chips too.
