My NCL home page had the "Let's get you upgraded" link today.

1st time this has showed up

I did make an offer using the slider that put the odds right at fair instead of poor.

This would take me to a Haven Aft Facing Penthouse with an H-6 category. I know it's a long shot but I wasn't denied yet.

So, just curious if this strategy seems worthwhile?

and what more would I really be entitled to with a Haven designation?

Assuming so -- first of all, it's 60 minutes on NCL. (At least it was on the Jewel two weeks ago.) Most important, I would not touch anything anyone had left on a lounger. If you think someone has exceeded the time limit, find a crew member and tell them, and let them handle it.

My 1st NW cruise is fast approaching.

When I have sailed on Carnival I would watch a handful of chairs with towels "reserving" them.

If I was certain the occupants did not return in at least 45 minutes I Took the towels to whoever was working the area and claim the chairs for myself and spouse.

Many times the hogs did not even return while I was using the chairs.

The few times they did return and tell me they had reserved the chairs I told them exactly what I had done.

I never had any type of confrontation because of this

So, my question is " Will this also work on NW? and if not why not?

Is it 99 per person for whole cruise or per day?

Anytime (which is only 4 cruises) I have boarded any ship on Carnival I just go right to my room and that has never been a problem.

No One has ever stopped me and the room is always ready.

Is this a common practice?

Norwegian tells me the Aft Balcony Handicapped rooms are almost twice as large as the normal aft balcony? and they are the same price? I may be taking a cruise with my Wheelchair bound Dad and this is important for us.

So, can anyone tell me if this correct info and any experience with this type of room?

Anyone ever stay at the Holiday Inn by the port in Miami?

If so is it halfway decent and do they provide shuttle service from the airport or to the Ships?
