    Hello,

I am booking reservations for electric vehicles in Bermuda for 11am. After realizing the time change from New York to Bermuda in June, I am not certain what time to book for? The itinerary says we are in port at 9am. Would that be Carnival ship-time, therefore, making it 10am in Bermuda? Or do they switch to local time in this port? I appreciate any clarification to not mess up reservations.

    Thank you!:)

It would be ship time. Set your watch to ship time.

I'm a  VERY picky vegetarian and carb counter who doesn't like Indian food and haven't been impressed with the other vegetarian selections in the MDR, so seldom go to dinner there. When I do, I usually settle on several sides-the vegetable selections are really good. Beware of the soups-most are made with beef or chicken stock.  I usually stock up on veggies from the buffet throughout the day (bring ziplick bags) to snack on. Needless to say, I've never gone hungry on a cruise. 🙂

Sounds good thanks about the tip on the zip lock.

We use a bunge cord and strap them to the top of our roller bag.  When we check our bags with the porters, that leaves just the 12 pack to carry on.  Never had them open the 12 pk. to inspect.

You know, you can also bring soda on at ports of call.  I will scout out the area of the ports on Google Maps for a cheap place to buy more soda, like the CVS right across the street in Old San Juan.

Can you do this with wine too?

The OP said they were having a tough time enjoying their cruise and were wondering if anyone had used Carnival's vacation guarantee.  I don't think that most posters here have addressed that question. (to the OP, I haven't done it in 40 Carnival cruises).

Most of the comments above try to impugn the OP's observation/reaction to being unable to enjoy themselves or venture off into illogical tangents like fines for leaving the ship.  If the OP did invoke the vacation guarantee, there would be no fine for them involved.  Another illogical tangent was that some posters enjoyed themselves on short cruisers, why can't the OP?  Didn't they know what they were getting into?

Why can't posters just accept that everyone experiences a cruise differently, and even the same cruise at a later date with the same itinerary can evoke different reactions?

Right, I am still waiting for the answer. I bet the OP stayed on the cruise too.

We would never let someone book flights for us, ever. Generally cheaper flights are longer layovers and poor connections.

You actually select the flights. It is the same thing. I fly nonstop.

  6. The first time yes second time no. It is meant to lock in the price. Now if you are making payments it's cool because you lock it in and could make payments as well. We lock it in on flexible which means by the time final payment comes we can cancel it. So it is good to research the average flight prices. We fly direct so we don't worry about missing connections but if you don't fly direct with this you are covered.

If you mean going up to the lifeboats after the instructions, nobody did that back in December. After the instructions, the special needs people were allowed to leave first, then about 5 minutes later, everyone else could leave the muster station.

Ours was held on the Lido Deck so we were allowed to sit on the side on the Inspiration. Not in the line. I don't know if it matters but we had JS.

What do you take off? I believe they open the beers..

I took off beers. You can think what you want. There is ways. Simple as that. Take care of them they take care of you.

Not all ships have a separate special needs muster station. On the Inspiration, everyone goes to their assigned muster station. If you have special needs or mobility issues, you just let the crew member with the computer pad know. It will then be marked on the computer.

On the Inspiration you were seated to the sides rather than that Zumba line.
