  1. Thank you for this. Do you know if there is a way to set up a link to this for people to buy gifts or add cruise credit as wedding presents? We're planning on doing a Caribbean cruise on Britannia in Nov 2018 for our honeymoon and it would be great to add the link into our wedding invites as a gift list.

  2. Well on the last day of your first cruise you have to go up and down in the lift waiting for someone to say, all packed then. You smile and say no we're staying on. :).

Or even, not a lot just treat it as another port day. You will at some time have to go to reception and get a new card for the second cruise.

This sounds awesome to a first time cruiser :D

  3. Think I'll be booking as soon as prices are released for first time cruisers to secure a cabin. Still unsure whether to book direct with P&O or with a TA. I've only ever booked holidays via Thomas Cook, never used online TA's so I'm a little scared of this even though the prices are better. I usually believe somethings are too good to be true and am reluctant to dare go with online TA's such as Iglu. Also if something goes wrong on the cruise and you've booked directly with P&O I think it will be dealt with better as they can't fob you off to the TA.

  4. I've been looking at prices for this November to get an idea of prices for Nov 2018, been screen shotting some prices as I go and I've noticed that each time I look the prices are going up. Some of the prices are as much as £600pp more today than when I looked on 6th Feb. Booking direct with P&O appears to be the dearer option, Thomas Cook next then the cheapest prices I've seen have been with Iglu. Also I'm a little shocked at the big increase pp at the difference in price between a balcony room and a superior balcony room as the superior balcony room is only a little bigger in sq ft and has a bath :o

  5. The cruises for 2019 will be going on sale at the end of March. On Monday people on Caribbean tier and above can start pre-registering. P&O will send out emails with details of the itineraries. A few days later they will appear on the website and be available generally. You can pre-register your interest with a TA or with P&O but at that stage you won't know the price.

    Thanks for this info :)

  6. The picture also shows that some suites have a slightly different layout - look at the corners and the doors from the bedroom, you will see some are in a different place to others. We have booked E743 recently as I read that the configuration was the best - there is a video of one of the e deck corner suites on You Tube. The other thing is that on the port side there are reports of some 'back draft' smells of cigarette smoke. We originally booked port side and changed it. If you use the search function on this board you will find lots of threads.

Thanks for this info, we are not smokers so will make sure I pick a cabin that's not on the port side.

  7. Hi Karen,

Um not sure why the link isn't working for you as I've just tried it & it's taken me through to the album OK.

However, when I've just clicked on Flickr again to share, it's given me another link

Hopefully, one of them will work for you & maybe someone in the 'know' might pop along & tell me what (if anything!) I'm doing wrong as the album is marked 'public' etc.

I will let you know what I think of D738 in September 2016 upon our return.

Thank you so much for the pics, it really makes a difference viewing the interior of a cabin prior to booking.

    Jaime.
