I've booked a bungalow because I read on here that it has direct water access while the cabana does not. Both have lunch included.
-
-
It was discontinued in the planner fleet wide in Nov 2016.
Sooo....is it safe to assume that the Voom offered pre-cruise in combo w/the Deluxe drink package is surf and stream (not just surf)? I vote for yes.
-
I think I just read somewhere that Surf & Stream is the only type offered pre-cruise. Surf is available, but only for purchase onboard. Is that correct? Does it vary by ship?
-
This happened to me the other day and I FINALY realized that I wasn't able to add it to the cart because it was already in the cart. :o:o Not my finest moment.
-
OP specified they only want a balcony....
-
Anthem does not have them, per my TA. We ended up getting 2 adjoining rooms because of this. Worked out well for us, but I know it's not a solution for everyone.
-
It's my understanding that this area is adult only, so wanted to check because we're interested in making dinner reservations there (15 yo daughter and 12 yo son).
-
So what about when you are in the pool and leave your bag with phone or Kindle on the chair unattended?
Yes! I have the same question. And what about when you're on the beach in port and the whole family is snorkeling or something similar?
-
We would have no problem walking between the bungalows and the snorkel shack.
Thanks! Is it accurate that the bungalows have water access for swimming but the cabanas do not? I did some searching on here and that's my understanding, but wanted to confirm. We want to be able to walk down to the water and swim right from the bungalow.

Hi - We are sailing on the Anthem in November. I've just reserved a bungalow (not an ocean view cabana because we want water access). My question is: we have also purchased the snorkeling treasure hunt excursion (can go any time during the day). Will it be possible to settle ourselves at the bungalow and then walk to the snorkeling at some point later? I'm not sure the size of the island overall and the location of the bungalows in relation to the snorkeling.
Is it safe to leave our belongings in the bungalow while we're away from it?
I'm trying to decide if it's worth it (i know, subjective) to get a bungalow if we'll be snorkeling for 2-3 hours of the day. If it's close and we can use it as a home base for the day I may keep it as is. If it's not close and you need transportation to get to either one...we may cancel the bungalow.
Any thoughts or experience would be great. Thanks!
I've also posted in Bahamas port of call area.

Are they waterproof? Or do you have to take it off to swim?

Following. Thanks for taking the time to do this!

Thanks for the review! Following as we're on her Nov 18.

We are on Anthem in a few weeks, and we have a balcony room that has the sofa bed for the third person.
Here's my question: How does the bed fold out of the couch? Does anyone have any pictures? What I REALLY want to do with the couch is slide a toddler bed rail into "the crack" in the sofa where I think the bed comes out of the couch....and not actually unfold the whole couch into a bed. Is this possible? Just trying to come up with the best, most space saving sleeping arrangement for my toddler.
I was trying to find out how they work too, but not for a rail. It was pretty difficult to find info. I found some videos online if I'm remembering correctly. I am under the impression that it opens like a book. Does that make sense? Not sure there is a place for a rail. I did see that the desk can be moved though. I wonder if you could push that up against the open side?
I'm obviously not the best resource, but wanted to chime in since I researched as well.

You're welcome.
;p I'm on my way... to 100 000
According to my stats average post rate, I should get there by year 2348

I'm only at 58 posts to date lol
Seriously though...I can't tell everyone on here how much I appreciate all the great info. I'm a huge Planner and this is so helpful!

Great pictures so far! I'm excited to follow SeaDogs review with another live one this week. You're all spoiling me. You ARE a good Aunt. I Flat Stanley'd a few years back for my niece but he wasn't as lucky as your Stanley :)
Have a great week!

ADD after Bob's post; might be time 2.5 where I may disagree with Bob.
I missed Bob's 100k - I have disagreed with his posts maybe twice in 100k:evilsmile: I do appreciate his information and knowledge (is there a bow down and worship icon?). Subject to Bob's correction, I think as soon as you give them a credit card they will then charge you $1 billon for their next ship (okay, I hope a slight exaggeration); I think you are then back in the RCI's "lets make money pool". They DO have your CC#; we will pray for you.
If that's the case then I'm done for already...they have my cc# from me booking excursions on Cruise Planner.
Thanks!

Here are the pics I took on Night one in the MDR.
Hopefully this will come out big enough to be able to read them.

Thanks so much for the info!

and then do you just pay x amount times the number of days left? is the price more than buying it pre cruise? thanks
Good question. It's definitely cheaper now in our case. It's $48/day now. Someone who just got off Anthem today posted that it was $60ish/day on board.
-
Yes, no problem.
I'm assuming they don't keep it on file then? Because then I may run into the extra charges after the fact issue anyway.
Thanks Bob. And congrats on 100K. I've only been on here a few weeks and I already "know" you because you've been very helpful :D

So this may seems like a petty, strange question. Does anyone know if Allure has flavored coffee creamer on the ship? If not, can I bring an unopened bottle or the mini ones? TIA
Not odd at all! I asked the same question about Anthem :D Seems they have 1/2, regular creamer and milk. I'm planning on bringing my own flavored.

Email them and ask. We did a swim with the dolphins in Anguilla on a ship tour (princess) and my husband joined us but did not take part in the swim. There was a special price ticket for him.
Thanks!
