  1. Looking into a western Caribbean itinerary that includes Mahogany Bay for October. Seeing my options are Breeze or Glory. Anyone sail both and have some pros/cons to share? Would likely get a balcony. Also wondering if rain would cancel any monkey related excursions in Mahogany Bay since October is a rainy time

  2.

LOL! The only FOMO I get is not being on the ship period.

I get FTTF because my gf cannot stand waiting so the extra cost is worse a little less stress on her.

One cool thing about FTTF is you get your own GS number as well... so you could just call down and avoid any lines.

This was helpful when I had to reschedule a cake after not eating dinner in the MDR and getting it sent to the room instead.

I had to go to GS on my first cruise because I didn't exactly understand the gratuity system and was handing out cash tips to everyone. Servers in the MDR, Cabin Steward and their helper etc. I just asked that they adjust them for the people I had been giving cash tips to. That is pretty much the only time I have been down there. Before ANYONE jumps on me about the gratuities I didn't research it enough on my 1st cruise AND I have them prepaid now ;)

  3. We all need prescription masks so we bought ours on Amazondotcom and our snorkels. I refuse to use rental ones as you have NO idea what procedures they use to keep them sanitary. It wasn't very expensive for them. Worth it for me to know it's MINE.

Ooooh if I like snorkeling and plan on doing it again I'll definitely need to look into a prescription mask. I was just going to be a lil blind under the sea [emoji23]

  4. I just bought masks and snorkels for me and my two kiddos. We have never been snorkeling so I just got them while out and about. I found mine at Ross and go theirs at Big Lots. They should work for the one day we will be in the water. I personally am a recovering germaphobe lol. Over it enough to go on the cruise, but not enough to use a rented snorkel. If you can get a good seal on the mask just go for whichever brand you can find.

  5. LOL thanks everyone for the responses. Didn't know I could ask for one or else I definitely would have last cruise! This is only our 2nd time around so will be sure to request 4 for this trip. I foolishly thought it was a suite perk and must have misread something while preparing for our first cruise. This time I am a little less new to the game and a little more prepared. THANKS EVERYONE!

  6. We have had robes hanging in the closet of every Carnival ship we have cruised on so far- Destiny (now Sunshine)- balcony cabin, Liberty - balcony cabin and Vista- interior with a window. I would think if they are not in the cabin when you arrive, asking your room stewart to bring them to you should work. Happy Sailing!

Thanks! We didn't have any in our cabin for our 2015 cruise on the Inspiration. I will definitely ask if we do not see any. Appreciate the repsonse

  7. In another thread I saw that one guest asks their steward for robes when they first arrive. I assumed the robes were only available in suites and for purchase at the fun shops. Can anyone confirm that robes are available to all guest upon request for no extra charge? we have 4 people booked in one cabin so it would be nice if we could all have robes while getting ready. Already thinking I may shower in the locker rooms if it gets a lil crowded. Thanks in advance.

  8. I have a spreadsheet to keep track of my Cheer progress.

This is so hilarious and would totally be something I would do while my gf tells me to relax [emoji23] I might have to sneak a spreadsheet app on my phone when I do decide to buy cheers [emoji482]

  9. My GF is taking her two kiddos with us on our next cruise out of Long Beach. The dad has been out of the picture for the last decade. No contact with him in over 4 years. She has full custody of both. Their last names are different, but the father is on the birth certs which we are using as their ID for the trip. I wonder if we are going to be asked for documents. Starting to worry now
