  1. Hi I would get a new quote.

I have just done a dummy booking on RCI UK website: Voyager of the Seas; Singapore to Hong Kong; 9 night cruise; cruise leaving on 29 June 2019; including flights(from Manchester) and overnight hotel. Deposit required £450.00 (for 3) with balance due 3 May.

I know when we book, we use a Travel Agent and have to pay £750.00 as a deposit. (£150.00 per person)

I will have a look thanks for info.

  2. I am on process of booking voyager of seas Singapore to hongkong cruise/stay flights included. We will be travelling from uk.What is a typical deposit a company would ask for there are 3 persons travelling. It's not til June 19.

    Any info appreciated

  3. Thanks, we have opportunity to book eataly for £18pp or galaxy for £14pp both offering 3 courses for this. Can you see menus anywhere beforehand? Which one has best view/interior, which restaurant offers scallops?

  4. in your honest opinion is galaxy or eataly restaurant worth the money? Is it a set menu does it ever change? Is it best to prepay? If I have a drinks package can I use it in these restaurants?

    Thanks

  5. can you tell me how far the port is from centre of ocho rios? Is it within walking distance? It has been 25 years since we were last here and will be visiting a restaurant that is still there. Any other suggestions of where to visit/see are taxis easy to get? Think we are only here from 10-6 or something like that. Thanks

  6. At sea day and almost everyday we found the pre order breakfast in the drawer by the bed, hung it on the door the night before and our coffee and danish, crosant were delivered. Both were fantastic and a great way to start a relax day. Up to the pool in afternoon. We had a wonderful waiter Nicol from India, he had us a table and took care of us the entire trip, side note, tipping is a good thing on any cruise. Most drinks were good, pina colada so-so, get a dirty banana or strawberry. Avoid a mojita. Let's talk about entertainment. ..

    What's up with the mojitos?

  7. Ah that's a shame it's not available to do on ship. That's great you were able to find a company that rents/delivers. Sadly this would not be possible for us as we are travelling from uk next month also.

  8. Adults (12 and over) - $12.50 per night

Child (2 and over) - $6.25 per night

Child (under 2) - no charge.

I have seen somewhere that people have removed these when they get on ship how is this possible? Do they still operate an envelope system where you can tip on last evening the various people?

  9. from what I gather these are allowed on board. I am based in uk so after one that I can buy easily before I travel if someone can convince me if any good. Please help or do I not waste my money and buy laundry package?

  10. Ah ok . I'm sure some models of these are a lot better than others and having never used one I would be interested to see how much creases they do remove. - maybe I should start another thread lol especially if anyone based in uk takes one with them.

  11. now I know I can't take an iron on board I am thinking about buying the 40 item package. Is it best to do this before I go or will it be cheaper onboard? Any experiences of items coming back ruined? If I have trousers that don't have centre crease in them because there not meant to will they come back with one?

    Thanks in advance.

  12. Ok thanks will pick this up at target after our cruise for future use. I don't mind using laundry service I'm worried items like trousers that do not have a centre crease because there not meant to come back from laundry with one?
