I'm 5'2" and I'd say the railing is at boob height, I'd have to climb on a table to get over that!
my wife says depending on age boob height can vary:o:o;p

The “Theatrium” sounds a lot like what Joe Farcus had designed for Pinnacle.
there's an interview on YouTube I think where farcus is said that when carnival pulled the plug on pinnacle they had designed a scaled back ship. I would bet this is what that is
-
They ships look about 2 to 3 decks higher and much longer than a vista class . Comparing side by sides of the vista and the drawings of the Costa ship they appear to be very close in width but the Costa is wider
-
I really can't wait to see what carnival comes up with for activities on this class. Flowriders? Climbing walls? The one thing I hope they go back to is a proper atrium. Vista class just dosent have the wow factor of other atriums
-
i believe the new class of ship probably the reflection class as they usually name a class after the lead ship. Costa tends to share designs with carnival and they just started work on the Helios class Smerlda. It's 180,000 tons as well and looks very similar

Just like all the folks who have never been sailfish fishing that are now going to not do that for fear of being gored.
Or...people understand it is a dumb commercial being played for laughs, and just leave it at that?
remember we have people out there that eat Tide pods...

Why not 4? That's unlucky in many Asian cultures.
It's all really silly.
on some ships in Asian ports there is no deck 4

My wife refers to her outfits as casual church clothes . Usually a pair of dress pants and a blouse or sweater . She always says if it's too casual for church it's too casual for the mdr

The smell is waste incinerators venting they are Midship

They always send the new ships to Miami. I don't see carnival sending the larger ships like the dream class or vista class to long beach yet, they make too much on 7 days out of Florida with them.I know the breeze is in port Canaveral November 2019 I just booked it and I did hear magic in Lauderdale till after 2020. I would imagine the excellence ships will be in Miami and that's when they will place a dream class to the west coast

Many of the accesible room can be seen on YouTube a lot of people will do room tours and post them. Just search for the ship and cabin number. Remember the dream and breeze are sister ships with almost identical deckplans
-
My wife and I don't drink except maybe 1 a day, we don't do excursions or gamble.the only thing we spend money on is in port shops , 7 days at 75 dollars a day is our usual and we come home with some

Oh my ! Thank you all so much! I have contacted carnivals special needs department and they notated my booking. They also sent me a mobility questionnaire that I've already sent back. I'm soo glad you all were here as I had no idea what to do being this my first cruise on wheels;p
-
Thank you all I contacted the special needs department and they have noted on there that I have a scooter that way I won't be moved

I have booked an fully accessible cabin on the carnival magic and I read they can take you out of the cabins if they need to. My scooter will only fit a fully accesible cabin and would hate to get there and find out I didn't have one. Does this happen often? Do they contact you if they need to remove you from the cabin? Just a little worried

My mother has two artificial knees and she gets the pat down every time. She joking refers to it as her pre cruise massage lol
-
I don't eat much after 9 anyway and if I do I like to go get it . Walking the ship at night when it's quiet is peaceful to me. And I don't eat before 6 soo I'm cool. And by carnival cutting food costs they are keeping the fares lower
-
No it's not true they will ask if you want once or twice a day and you fill out a little card the first day . Some will give you a hard time about the twice a day but it is still available. My wife and I are not very messy so we just have it done in the evening. My parents always get it done twice

I use a heavy duty mobility scooter 28 inches wide it will fit through the door of 11202 which is 32 inches wide as it is a fully accesible cabin. I have this cabin booked for an upcoming cruise. At 22 inches your scooter will be a very tight fit in the doorway of 11203 because it is a ambulatory cabin with standard 22.5 inch door 21 inches with the door .as for size 11202 was a very roomy cabin with more than enough room to turn my scooter around. Hope this helps
