Being from Texas I can't use the Cheers program the first day. I I'll I be charged for it? What about the last day? We'll make port at 8am. I don't think I should try to break even in two hours!

Following for ideas! Our daughter turns 16 in June and said she didn't want a party but instead a trip. She knows we are on a tight budget so I don't think she's expecting anything. The wife and I have been picking up extra duties at work every chance we get to make it a great trip. On her actual birthday she's getting some tshirts with catchy sayings about the cruise and one for each port of call since we actually sail two months after her bday. We'd like to have her stateroom decorated for her as well

Ok. Thanks! Didn't realize I couldn't drink it onboard. First timer. I don't know that I'd get my money's worth out of the cheers card. Guess I'll buy drinks as I go.

I see on the website, Carnival advertises you can buy bottles of alcohol for up to 50% off of shore prices and the bottles are bigger. But when I looked through the gifts you can purchase pre cruising, they were up to triple! Is that because they will be delivering them? Can I buy booze cheap on board? What gives?

I also see where they sell watches and jewelry. Are these real pieces or knock off Chinese junk?
