  1. We have cruised with Carnival, Princess and RCL and are looking to cruise to Cuba. I saw a few on other lines but they're only 4-5 days. Has anyone done the Cuba cruise and if so, which line is good and is at least 7 days? Thanks for any and all suggestions

  2. I also think you should be using the other e-mail addresses that have been posted here. I have used mbayley@rccl.com twice and was contacted by phone the next day. Both times I was quite satisfied with the outcome.

I sent an email to mbayley yesterday explaining how I made reservations for 20% off at Sabor during their sale and they somehow cancelled it and I had to rebook it for the full price of $30 per person. I told them that I received a confirmation of my reservation and my credit card had been charged but their Planner department was less than sympathetic. Haven't heard back yet but I'm hoping this can be resolved

  3. This is my first time buying something on the Cruise Planner for my Empress OTS cruise as I didn't use it on my trip on the Radiance OTS in Alaska. I bought the Voom+Stream for $8.99 x 4 when it was on sale and I got the charge on my bank account. Got the order confirmation etc... but now looking at my account, the charge is no longer there... Does Royal just make a peak to see if you have the $$ then charge it on board? Or is this just a very nice glitch :D

If you booked with a TA contact them and have them check it out because RCL may have messed up and cancelled it. It happened to me two days ago.....I booked a specialty restaurant for myself and my friends. Got confirmation on both but somehow they cancelled mine. When I had my TA call them he was told it was cancelled and if I wanted it back I had to pay the full price instead of the original discounted price. I called the cruise planner department and they refused to honor the discounted price I originally booked even though it has been charged to my credit card

  4. This very same thing just happened to me. I'm booked out of Galveston on Dec 11 and received an email about a special 24 hour sale with 20% off drink packages, specialty dining and internet. I booked my husband and I for Sabor Mexican dining for $24 each, received a confirmation and my credit card was charged. An hour later I booked for another couple that was traveling with us and again received confirmation.

Today I looked at my reservation and only my friends' reservation appeared. I called my TA and asked him to check. He only found my friends as well. I forwarded my 2 confirmation emails and he called RCI. He was told mi d got cancelled for some reason and said I should call.

Spoke to RCI and they refuse to honor the confirmation for me. They say my reservation was made and then cancelled although I never cancelled. If we want those reservations we now have to pay $30 each. I am furious with their lack of customer service and I told them as much.

I did pay $30 each because our friends are going but I think I will go to customer service on board and show them my original confirmation. I really feel cheated.

  5. What do people where to formal nights? I feel like this is going to be hard for me because I don't dress up lol! Going to have to get something for both nights. We are also on the September 11 Breeze sailing!

Just so you know, hardly anybody dresses to the hilt anymore. We just got back from the Breeze and formal night mostly consisted of people wearing church or office clothes. My husband word an collared shirt and slacks, no jacket or tie. I wore dress pants and a nice top. Don't stress out about it. On Carnival you can be as casual or classy as you like
