Darn. Both of my daughters are tall (5' 6"), as is my niece. Oh well. I don't think any of us will be spending much time in the room anyways.
I think by tall they mean closer to 6 ft. The trundle is fine lengthwise for somebody 5'6" not the most comfortable but long enough.

My pleasure. I know seeing the dailies always helped me so I wanted to pay it forward.

There were bottles available on the Epic from the bar at the same price as the pre-order. They were listed in the bar menu at maltings.

Thanks for the review. I was a little bored on the last night too until I realized there was a movie marathon playing on the TVs in the cabin with some really good movies. They also had pizza and wings up in the buffet so we got some and just had a pizza/movie night.

Was there a cost for the class?
No it was a free class
-
No but they had a Cardio Mix Dance Class on the pooldeck a couple of days that was great. Very similar to a Zumba class.

Will you receive lackluster service in the MDR or O'Sheehans? Perhaps. I did on occasion. It was not life-altering, just be aware your meal may not arrive instantaneously. Not really sure why you would be scared at all since you are in the Haven and don't even have to be bothered with either of those locations.

We just did this tour and everybody in my group enjoyed it. It was a bit overcast and windy so the water was a bit choppy for snorkeling but the guys from the boat were helpful to the snorkelers and were able to point out the different fish and things.
For those not snorkeling the bar was open the entire time the complimentary drinks included yellow bird, bahama mama, goombay smash, rum & coke, soda. They also sold top shelf and frozen drinks as well as beer and cuban cigars at the upstairs bar for additional cost.
We all enjoyed lunch which consisted of chicken, BBQ ribs, rice, and corn.
They played a wide range of music including the obligatory line dances, hip hop, soca, some 80's & 90's stuff.
Like I said we enjoyed ourselves and all of us would do it again.

Pub crawls on Epic were stopped about 2 years ago..
It is listed as "Pub Hop" in the bar menus and we were told by multiple bartenders that it would take place on a sea day however it did not happen last week. It seems to be random as to whether they do or do not hold it now.

Here are the dailies and the "Week at a Glance" in pdf format. Hopefully they will be easy enough to read.

Last week the Pub Crawl never happened so can't tell you how it would work. We were told it was going to be held so that was pretty disappointing that it wasn't.
-
No. But, you are more than welcome to complete your check in and return to the general boarding area to board with your group when their boarding group is called.

Is there Kariokee at Bliss every night?
Karaoke was held in Fat Cats every night. The times were all over the place and sometimes it was an hour all the way up to 3 hours.

Just got off the Epic, happy Hour is gone. The had Margarita, martini, beer, and wine tastings. They also have $15 flights at Maltings and Shakers. Maltings has 3 Patron shots for $15 and Shakers has 6 mini Martinis for $15.
They also no longer serve snacks at Maltings since Happy Hour is gone.
Smuggling was apparently quite easy as nearly everybody I met had smuggled something aboard at embarkation and at ports of call.
-
we were able to get pizza fairly late on the Epic at the Great Outdoors buffet and sometimes the buffet section just inside the doors from the Great Outdoors also had pizza and other snacks at night.
-
I have them but just got back today. I will try to scan them tomorrow and get them posted. If you are looking for anything in particular I can look something up for you.

Just back from the Epic and thought I would report here.
Pub Crawl - listed in bar menus, told they do have it. It did NOT happen on our sailing.
Ship 'n Males - not listed did NOT happen on our sailing.

Should I be worried about the people who are already planning to have a bad time on my cruise? ;)
This is our third time sailing her this time of year. As far as excess movement, it is not that you feel it more on the Epic it is more that this particular route this time of year is rough. We have sailed this route on many different ships in early December and the first couple of days have all been rough. Did not have the same issues during warmer months.
As far as service goes any number of things could have caused the issues from changes in staff, typhoon concerns, unpleasant passengers, unrealistic expectations, actual bad attitudes of the staff, who knows, it happens. We loved our first time on the Epic and another woman on our roll call hated it. Different experiences same sailing.
I plan to have a great time, hope you do the same.

Thank you so much for sharing! We leave next Saturday, 12/7, and you know how it is when you're getting close, it is great to see the recent reviews...and pics!! Thanks again!
Hi, not sure if you have made it over to our roll call yet but we have an awesome group with lots planned for the 12/7 sailing. Come on over and say Hi :)

I could be wrong but I have cruised the Epic this time of year for the past couple years and remember being concerned about bad reviews as well. Our sailings have turned out great, this year will be our third.
What I have noticed is the first couple of cruises on either side of the transatlantic crossings seem to have some wrinkles. Once a rhythm gets going again things are great. I don't know if it is crew change, different schedules or expectations or what but the early Europe and early Caribbean sailings seem to have more complaints.
Obviously nothing scientific, just my own observations.

I agree with the Bonine suggestion. I used to get seasick every cruise now I take a Bonine each night starting the night before we board the ship.
I was on the Epic Dec 7 and there was quite a bit of motion particularly at night when the Captain upped the speed.
