  1. As far as I know it's not available on Princess ships. I believe the only Gins available when sailing are:

    Beefeater

    Bombay

    Sapphire

    Hendrick's

    House Gin

    Tanqueray

No it's not on the ships but if you are a Gin fan it's one to look out for at your liquor store.

  2. At home I often drink what I refer to as "And Tonic" which is just tonic and lime without the Gin. I actually prefer the diet tonic for this. I know... It sounds horrible but it works for me. The temp here today will be 107 F so a nice And Tonic may be in the works for me today. (Friday and Saturday are predicted to be 111 F. Uggh...)

As for Scotch... I find it appropriate for any cruise - as long as it's a decent Scotch. The stuff offered for in-room consumption just doesn't make it at all. Give me a nice single-malt that's at least 12 years old. ;)

May I suggest you try the London No 1 blue Gin. It is very nice and the most beautiful pale blue in the glass.

  3. Those in full suites also get free laundry and report it comes back in one day even when elites not in a full suite have to wait several days.

Thats as it should be given the price that those of us who sail in full suites pay.

  4. Oh well we've booked the Brissy to HKG as well. Have booked a suite on Riviera deck. Don't do many cruises at the moment as running your own business gets in the way hence the splurge. Hopefully any problems will have been ironed out if there are any before we leave! :D

  5. Well I'm way bigger around the waist than Brisbane41 and a lot heavier and I had no "issues" with these toilet seats in the suite on the Diamond last year. I was so pressed I now have one at home. I don't mind sitting a little longer for the full wash and dry :D:D

  6. Anytime worked just fine on the Dawn on the San Francisco to Sydney repo in 2008. This is the major reason we don't really sail on the Aussie Princess ships. Except for a quickie in February to make Elite. Detest traditional dining.
