  1. We will be on the Majestic next month and per the My Time Dining reservation page, it looks like you can make reservation as early as 5 PM. So one would assume the earliest they open is at 5. This may be an Alaska itinerary influence versus other regions. In theory they could open at 6 as the Regal but that would leave hundreds of upset people waiting outside since 5...😜
  2. That's my experience as well. I couldn't book any dining reservation on the app until after final payment. When I tried to do it prior to final payment, the error message pops up saying we can only book it post final payment. We are in the lowly Gold level and basic cabins so zero perks on our reservation. As for discussion on selecting "private" table, it will depend on if you want to dine at the popular time or not as well as party size. We are a party of 6 sailing in 3 weeks and if we opt for a popular time of 7 PM, the option is very limited as only can go to Allegro Dining Room: But if selecting the time slot 20 minutes earlier to beat the rush, one can have more options: Although one wonders why you would want to select the option to have your party split up when you can dine together? Unless one is in the dog house with the spouse and she doesn't want to sit with you...
  3. I submitted my email request on July 7 and saw the credit in the account on July 13 for our cruise next month. Not sure if it made any difference but in the subject line of the email, I put down our sailing date (less than a month's away) on the outside chance someone might look through the hundreds/thousands email titles and place priority processing for cruises coming up next few weeks. Yeah, I know, I believe in Santa Claus also... So if I have say $75 refundable OBC from TA on top of the $100 non refundable shareholder credit, how does Princess prioritize the usage of credits? For example, if I spend $125 on board, do they use up the $100 shareholder credit first and then the TA credit so I walk out the ship with $50 credit? Or they utilize the $75 TA credit first and then shareholder credit but since that's not refundable, I walk out with $0?
  4. We will be on the Majestic southbound in a month. Haven't heard of any changes to time in port. I'm more concerned with making it to Skagway with the rock slide last month but it looks like all the Princess ships are able to go to Skagway this week using tenders. As for "All Aboard", that's typically 30 minutes before sailing time. Which would be 3:00 if your sailing away was changed to 3:30.
  5. If Whittier is the local town that is requesting masks, then in theory Holland America one way cruises would be under the same umbrella as both Princess and HAL uses Whittier for the one way Alaska cruise. Other cruise lines use Seaward for their one way Alaska sailings. Does anyone know of other cruise lines sailing the one way Alaska voyage have masks requirement other than Princess? Maybe the request is from the Whales Union based out of Glacier Bay...
  6. We will be in Skagway next month on the Majestic Princess and she us scheduled to use the RRF dock. In looking at today's scheduled ships in Skagway, Royal Princess is scheduled to use the RRF dock. Per Cruise mapper and Royal Princess' live web cam feed, the ship is in Skagway now but It looks to be a bit away from the dock so could it be tendering? Really hoping not have to cancel Skagway.
