Hey yall. Sorry if this has been asked and answered. I tried to search but I didn't find what I was looking for.
We're going to CocoCay next month and there is A LOT to do there apparently. We just want a pool.. possibly a swim up bar.. and a couple of lounge chairs.. Do we need to purchase access to somewhere? It doesn't seem like we'd need the water park as we're not really interested in slides or anything.
Thanks!

We were on the Symphony and paid for lunch on March 9. We also had the limited menu. Since it was important to us to relax in Chops and avoid embarkation day madness elsewhere, we just accepted it. It was disappointing, though, to pay for one thing and receive less due to implementation of a new program that we chose not to participate in.
That is a change from when this program was first implemented and I don't like it at all.

I'm loving this! Thanks for sharing. I would LOVE to hold a sloth. Going to have to book a cruise just for it, I think. 😉

I don't see any dining packages for our 05/28/19 Symphony sailing, they were available when I looked about 6 weeks ago. RCCL customer service couldn't locate them when I called today. Do you think they will be available when we get on board? Thanks
We'll be on that sailing with you! I would keep watching. I suspect they might come back yet.

Sailing on Symphony in May for a long weekend (not nearly long enough though). Soaking up anything and everything I can about her till then just to build the anticipation! Thanks for sharing.

Did you use any of the spa services? We have a couples massage scheduled on our cruise and haven't been able to find many Symphony spa reviews.
My husband and I had a couples massage on Harmony in November and we thought it was just okay. We vowed to never waste our time in the spa again. It was fine and all but we spent time and money there when we could have been doing something else as there is so much to do always!

You're welcome! They're super functional, and I know keep one in my go-to carry-on I always take traveling so I don't forget it!
Have you ever had trouble with it demagnetizing your set sail pass or other cards?

Bra if I forget this and don't have pockets, but these I love as long as I have pants or skirt on - when not traveling I use them to hold dog bags when walking dogs or keys/change/etc when trying to be hands free.

I really like this. I think I'm going to buy one. Thanks!

Are they replacing Sabor on every ship? I enjoyed it on Harmony. Am looking forward to trying Hooked though as well.

We used our onboard cash to buy our drink package.. or part of our drink package at least. We don't typically like to hold onto that for long because we don't always spend a lot of money onboard. My question is if I cancel our drink package purchase for a cheaper price, does the onboard cash get refunded as well? Thanks.

The last time I checked, the lunch and dinner menus were not the same for me. I'll see if I can find a screenshot of them.

Since this thread has been revived.. I'm very curious to what the final outcome was.

This was always a problem...but now I recently found a very small thin cross body bag that will hold my iPhone and SeaPass card. Black (they had other colors) leather like at Target $10.00....it works great.
I don't like the lanyard types around my neck...my type is very comfortable.
Would love a link to this if you find it on their website. I'm going to go and check tomorrow to see if I find something similar.

Following along. I'll be on Symphony in May and very much looking forward to it. This will only help build the anticipation. Can't wait for any must sees or do. How did you like your hotel? I'm still in need of making a hotel reservation for the 2 days before the cruise. Thanks for sharing your trip with us! Enjoy!!

That would be great, thank you!! We've been missing Harmony since our November sailing.. Just seeing and hearing your adventures makes me think it's time to finally book our next one on her! I just love it so much.

Awesome. Hope the rest of your travels went well. I like Waffle House as much as the next gal but your mom was one smart lady. I don't love pancakes but Cracker Barrel pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had. Safe travels ❤️

i can see at evening meal but not for breakfast or lunch i'm in a wheelchair so i wont be going to buffets i'm on level 3 and i think there is a dining room on that level not far from me. Do you know what kind of bar is at the entrance ot restaurant
My husband is in a wheelchair and the staff at the Windjammer were AMAZING. They gave him hand sanitizer to get in rather than trying to get through the hand washing room. Then they assisted him with getting his food and drink and getting him back to his table. Every single day that he went there, they were so quick to offer assistance. They remembered his name and his drink. By the end of our 8 days, they could practically guess what he wanted to eat. Seriously, they were so amazing. I cannot say enough about the Windjammer staff on Harmony. If that's what is holding you back from eating in the buffet, don't let it!

Sorry for your loss. I'm betting your mom would be thrilled with your way of celebrating her life though. I was on Harmony in November and had the time of my life. Can't wait to follow along with your adventure!

Jamies was just added so I do not think the recess are back from it yet. I was planning to do Jamies but just realized on this cruise I have a Central Park cabin, so Ill do chops with the crowds.
Yeah our May cruise is just a short 4 day cruise. We have reservations at Jamie's for lunch on day 2 because I'm obsessed with the Spicy Prawn Linguine. If I can get that on day 1 with The Key lunch.. I'd love to go to Hooked instead on day 2. I reserved both for now, just in case. Just waiting to hear some feedback from people that used The Key to eat at Jamie's instead of Chops.

I know this is mostly about the free dining options but I dream about the Spicy Prawn Linguine at Jamie's. 🤤I follow a mostly keto diet and I already know I'll be breaking that for Jamie's in May.
-
From what I can tell, everybody that has reported back here about their experience with The Key had their lunch at Chops. Has anybody had their Key lunch at Jamie's or been offered that? My May cruise says lunch at Chops or Jamie's. Curious about the lunch menu for the program.

I'm interested in this as well. Especially Jamie's..
