I use a CPAP.  I’ve always had an extension cord for it.  With some of the new revolutions, might anyone know if there is an outlet (European or US) near the night tables in a C1 (hump) cabin.  It would be nice not to the usually orange cords laying on the floor.

We asked the cabin Stewart to run the extension cords around the floor walls , then under  the sliding balcony doors to the bed side. He  used black electrical tape so no cord running access the door to trip over… I brought a 3 plug adapter to attach to end of his extension cord to plus in my USB so had our cell phones on night tables

Thanks to @Host Hattie, I just learned in a different forum that Smiths for Airports has ceased operating.  Very sad.  I realize there's a pinned thread regarding transfers, but I think this is significant enough news to warrant a separate thread so that folks who don't keep up with that thread see the information.

Anyone have another suggestion with good reviews?

  3. Will be boarding Reflection soon and wanted to know if they allow us to bring a small case of water  onboard ? We normally sail Royal and give the dock porters the case with our luggage ( with cabin tags attached? )

also can we get get bottled water from the bars with our premium beverage package?

  4. I guess it depends on the location of the cruise. It would be terrible on a Caribbean cruise, but we enjoyed the (retractable) covered pool a lot on our Norwegian fjords cruise and are looking forward to it on our upcoming British Isles cruise.

  5. You may bring aboard as many bottles of wine as you can carry, both at initial embarkation, and at ports.

One 750ml bottle per adult is corkage-free at initial embarkation. One bottle at ports is corkage-free provided it was purchased while on a HAL-sponsored excursion to a winery. All other bottles will have an $18 corkage fee added to your on-board account.

If the 'free' bottles are brought to a public venue for consumption, they will also incur a corkage fee.

You are allowed to bring aboard as much water as you can carry. That is true at both initial embarkation and subsequent ports. There is no fee to do so.

The same is true for soda, juices, and all non-alcoholic beverages.

Will they allow a case of water with a luggage tag ( to be delivered to cabin like luggage) or only what you physically carry with you on boarding?

  6. Here is what I had

    ImageUploadedByForums1465992413.092367.jpg.5fb21e542349feb2059f70cd0658b3e6.jpg

We had the surf+stream for two devises and

I used my iPad and iPhone in our deck 8 forward balcony cabin and other parts of the ship. Email was just ok but web surfing, downloading, was unbearable !!!!

I needed to use for work and had to bear with it

  7. As is the case with any issue on the ship, the time to address it is on the ship (if you didn't like the product ask for a refund). Complaining afterwards, especially to C&A does not usually yield results - if you get a reply at all.

The ship was saying it was VOOM and nothing was wrong!!!

I fully expect a response and will let you know how it goes

  8. Ideally we need someone with Surf & Stream on Naviagtor to post a comparison

My speed tests HAVE been on the Surf &Stream package

Not sure about video card or whatever as we are using an iPhone 6 and iPad

Two device package can be used on ANY two devices at one time
