Are you kidding?! You'd miss the Goat Cheese Souffle! Chef's Dinner is one of my favourite nights; I'd never miss that or Italian Night -- but I'd definitely skip the last night, as I don't care for much on the Landfall dinner menu. You know why I'm sharing all this? Because taste is so subjective. No one can tell you what a good night to skip is for you. Once onboard, you can see the actual menus and make your final decision then.
Thanks, perhaps we will reconsider our options. I did find another post that indicates the Chef's Dinner is on Thurs evening and the Italian on Weds. evening. Some really tough choices.

Christine,
Which of the MDR menus that you posted is designated "Chef's Dinner"? Some have suggested this is a good night to do a specialty restaurant.
Thanks,

So much drama. Some of the stories are so funny!!

What you get on Emerald deck is a crap shoot. I would upgrade if possible.

All the pastries on the ship come from the same bakery located in the main kitchen. Grated there may be some items served in the I. C. that are not served in the H. C.
As for quality, the fruit tart in the I.C. is the same quality as the fruit tart in the H.C.
The pastry chef does not make low quality for the H. C. and a higher quality for the I.C.
I know these perceptions exist and have wondered why. I have been on several Princess ships and have not noticed the quality difference issues.

Thanks.

Where on the Cruise Personalizer do I select "No Upgrade". We are in a cabin we like and do not want to be upgraded.
Or is this request located somewhere else?
Thanks,

Pam, Why did you have to remind me how nice the "Old" chairs were? Now I too, shall miss them. It had been a while since we had cruised so I had forgotten the nice contoured chairs.

Just on Sapphire and found the balcony furniture worked just fine for sitting with our feet on the stool. Obviously it is not meant for stretching out and sleeping. I use the bed for that. I would never forego booking a balcony due to the lounge furniture.

How do I find out where we dock in St. Thomas on the Royal for Weds. March 5, 2014. Havensite or Crown Bay?
I think I read she had docked in Crown Bay this season.
Thanks,
