One needs to check in to ones cruise on the website and select PLAN MY CRUISE, then choose excursions, dinning, drink or wifi. not everything on every cruise is on those deals. one needs to check. I snatched 2 excursions on sale but the 1 I am realy interested in hasn't budged.

The sailing was Nov. 10-19.2022. Maybe thats why there were daily meets. Don't know who organizes it.

We sailed last November, every day there was a Veterans meeting, and a special one on Nov.11. it will show in your daily activity planner.

My guess would be, If you go look for the drink pkge for TA 2024 in 2024 closer to the cruise date prices go up.Or perhaps they secured a different supplier and can offer it cheaper.Prices for 2023 might have been more. Also the exchange rate right now is horrendous.

We too booked a multiple night pkge, from what I have been reading on other threads, is on Embarkation day go to Oceanview Cafe or one of the Specialty Restaurants and book all nights at once, there are suppose to be tables set up to sign up. I want to see whats available without having to go back and forth between Restaurants on the App. Let me know how you make out in regards using the App.pls.

Yes you can carry on Soda/Pop/water. I believe 12 per person. Must be carried on not in checked luggage.

we are on the March 11-22 cruise. I know its a while yet lets hope things improve or they decide sooner rather than later.For me it was more about the Islands, the Canal was a bonus, if they come up with great other stops thats fine as well.

We too took a $ 5.00 pp cab ride to the beach. If you like to try the local beer have the cab driver stop at the Liquor store before the beach( sadly we found out afterwards) but beer was very cheap there. we arranged a pick up time and the cab driver was on time.

I booked the Destination Highlights Deluxe Cartagena + Fortress tour. Price seems very reasonable, but now I am wondering if the entrance fee is included, all I am interested in is the Fortress and Old town. Can you remember how far and how much it is from Port? TIA

I am sorry but your post is confusing to me. You say you prebooked, which means you had to choose either CC or OBC to pay for it. But yet you ask if you pay with final payment or Onboard.

You can not book a Royal Caribean Cruise on the Celebrity Beyond. Yes they are owned by RC but don't offer each others cruises.

you are grouped by 8-12 into Zodiacs. so it goes fast, but yes you do get some time, not alot to change into dry shoes.So board last ,meaning you get of first and a little xtra time.

We met up with a couple yesterday which is on the Summit right now(we met on a Galapagos cruise) and they have sailed a few Celebrity cruises and they confirmed Food standards are not what they used to be.

It is the City of Venice which banned large cruise ships, not a choice made by Celebrity. This has been discussed over and over, There are other options to get to Ravenna, People have to do a bit more research and decide what is best for them. To the poster who said Celebrity chose their flights, never ever let a third party choose your flights, do the research and tell them which flights you want.

It is 2 hrs plus from Ravenna to Venice Airport. that would get you to the AP after 3pm,that leaves only 2hrs to check in , go through security. and thats if everything runs on time and there are no hiccups. I have been at Venice AP in November and it was a zoo and this was pre covid. Long lines for security checks, check in etc.and your trip is in the middle of summer when its even busier. My opinion not worth it.

I agree. we did Galapagos in Jan.22 on the Expedition and we chose a Oceanview cabin, something i would not do on the bigger ships. one spends so much time outside a little cool room was very nice.

If not snorkeling no wetsuit required. you might get a bit sprayed but nothing crazy. they also offer walking/hiking tours as an alternative on some of the islands. Its a nice mixture of both activities.

In order to board the ship to Alaska does one go through the same custom procedure as if entering at a Land crossing or preflight at Airport? TIA
