Not at all, one has a 160 degree view in the comfort of your cabin

We were in S107 on Discovery for 7day Alaska Cruise. Quietest Cabin I have ever been in (30 cruises in various cabin types and locations). Area is very private, pool/bar area is close.

Had this experience already and has cost me over $350, possible more. If you want to book a seat on BA it costs and is non refundable. But the real issue is you have to pay for the flight first. My TA said this might have changed the flight from flexible to restricted (never was informed if true), which could affect the refund method.
I cancelled my up coming 25 day transatlantic, and made the HUGE mistake of having booked easy air BA with American as code share. I cancelled the trip after paying final payment (my second mistake but I was traveling with a big group of friends). Princess did a great job of quickly refunding all my costs to credit card including the princess insurance within a week except for air ($1784), not sure when or how my Air will be returned.
I cancelled the cruise under the Prince cruise with confidence (and yes I had princess insurance). I will never book BA/American code share again.- 1

To jwattle, there are new policies. When did you last book?

This was a flight from CPH to LHR, then LHR to PHX non-stop. Both aircraft were BA. I booked the seats on Easy Air at time of reservation. I was an engineer and always double check everything. I went on the American site and sure enough the seats I selected were on the reservation, I thought this is great. I then went to the BA site and the seats were NOT assigned. I called American first and after and hour and half wait, they said there is nothing they could do (so much for code share). I then called BA. In a very british accent, they gentleman said I had the pay now for the seats before I could select a seat prior to the stated 24 hours before the flight (24 hours before the flight I would be running around Copenhagen!). So I paid the for the tickets. Now that I could reserve the seats on the BA site, I discovered they would cost a total of $352 for both flights for my wife and I. I was not smart enough to ask the BA person the first time whether there was a charge for business class seats. I should have cancelled if I had known all of this. I have reserved seats ahead of time on SAS, SWISS, Lufthansa, and others and had no problems.

The EZ air price for Hawaii to Phoenix was over $1700 per person first class, $1250 on the Hawaiian Air site. If you request a fully refundable flight on the Hawaiian site, the price jumps to over %1600.
So I believe the refundability issue is now becoming a big Easy Air concern, given the number of cancelations.

I booked a British Air flight through American code share a few months ago. Be careful of British Air. In order to reserve a seat (even in business) you must pay hundreds of dollars, but before that, you have to pay the full EZ air price before they will assign seats! So if you cancel, you loose the seat cost. American was useless in the whole process. I will personally NEVER fly BA again. On the other hand, if you book United or United partners, you can get
assigned seats on your United account website at NO cost.

2020 25 day Transatlantic to Baltic on Sky: $13,600 in S7 Window Suite
2022 25 day Transatlantic to Baltic on Enchanted: $20038 in S7 Window Suite
from my perspective, my cancelled cruise in 2020 has gone up 50% in 2022

Actually shortened cruises (7 days), given all of the precautions in guidelines, makes zero sense to me. You turn people over faster, increasing risk.

I agree with Ken above, begs the question what is Princess Cruise's "thinking" about the voyages of the Island and Pacific in Europe 2021? I'm booked on the Nov 8 2021 Island and I'm thinking it will be cancelled.
Thoughts?

Thank you Triptkr! Just what I needed. You must have used a quality camera, remain clear after blowing up.

Interested in comments about aft premium balconies on Sky Princess. Particularly which, if any, have decks wider than average balconies. We have sailed on the Regal and the Riviera Deck balcony was wider than most, but it appears the Sky has changed aft design of ship. Also, anyone sailed in M725 or 727, noise from above? Deck appears mostly covered. Thanks for your help (I have searched the Web far and wide).

We had Window Suite on Sky, 25 day T/A, would take the same for 2021 in heart beat.

We were on the Island last Oct thru the canal, internet was great. It has the medallion net on board.
We have reserved the 24 day Oct 2021 trip from London to Rome, its a wonderful itinerary

We canceled March 12 for Sky TS on April 11. Requested Option 2, received FCC (25% Goodwill) today at noon, no refund yet.
Have more confidence now..........

it seems to be continuing by BaBr, why is that?

but political nonsense is ok? wow!

From the discussion on the Crown T/A Roll Call (25 March), Princess has already set up the new itinerary without Italy. Thus I believe the T/As are going to happen, unless more wheels fly off the bus.

Have stayed in this room last October through the canal. Our favorite room. Has wrap around deck.

Except the majority of insurance states it does NOT cover pandemics. The cruise industry is at a cusp right now, they cannot insure the cruise is what we signed up for and it is safe. Floating around looking for ports is not what we signed up for. If they do not carefully address these issues, they are done, I have been cruising for years on Princess.

If "two day wonder" is right, kind of makes T/As to Europe potentially problematic. All of the T/As will visit a country with cases now, and each time you port 3000 people will be wondering around on land as potential hosts. This in turn potentially sets up the Diamond Princess scenario. Seems like the cruise lines should strongly consider delaying T/As to Europe at least to June to see how this plays out. Just a thought......

We just got off the Island from Canal Cruise. We also were on the Pacific Cruise a year ago. what a difference a year makes.
Food was fantastic, the friendliest crew we have ever had on a princess ship, from the Captain to maintenance people. We were in a suite and they had a special evening event for suites in the sanctuary, wow it was amazing. Met the senior officers, talked one on one with Captain for 15 minutes, highlight of the cruise.
Club Class dining was fantastic, the head waiter, Alfredo, and his staff made every night special!
I was not a fan of the Island before this cruise, but I would consider this a top choice moving forward.

There is a 1-2 foot width difference between S107 and S 108. S107 being wider. This difference is enough to have the beds position differently. S107 faces from of ship, S108 is orthogonal to front.
