It was explained to me that while you might still test positive for Antibodies, that is different than what the Antigen or PCR test is looking for.  You can always go to CVS and get the $20 Bionex Now rapid test (2 pack) just to see what it says and give you some comfort.  Just keep in mind that test (given not the AG version supervised by a doc) is not allowed for the actual cruise as proof of negative.  Good luck, have a great night.

You are a ROCK STAR!! Thanks so much for the clarification.

We are on this cruise as well!. I have such mixed emotions. Want to go, but booked since initially we wouldn't have to test.  Can't decide!

We are going. I am worried because the cdc says if you had covid within 3 months that you should not test because it will come up positive. I am a flight attendant, I have been vaxxed, and I got Covid in April. Four months ago! If my test comes up positive, I am gonna be so BUMMED!!!

They should allow cancellations along with full refunds due to people booking these cruises that were vaccinated and did not want to worry about testing. I would not have booked had a test been required. Now 17 days before my cruise, the rules are changed to have to test and wearing masks. I did not sign up under those parameters. RCL and Celebrity are allowing cancellations and providing refunds.

Agree! We are leaving on the 21st on the Panorama and now EVERYTHING changed.

I think that’s going to be a problem. I see so many people on social media saying just get a rapid test and I think some people are going to get the wrong test.

I agree 100%. If I wasn't here to go with my husband, he would get the wrong test. Fortunately we are going together and will get the right test. I think a lot of people may get turned away at the pier for having the wrong test. We leave on the 21st on the Panorama and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out!

Just depends ..... I've spent $12000 on cruises but yet my cruise in a few weeks on the Panorama cost me $669 for two for a week so that left enough over for Cheers, the spa, dining. Generally we prefer to spend on extras like drink packages, tours, arcade passes, spa passes, etc. We find that enhancing our cruise experience makes it just that more enjoyable but can see how people choose to be frugal if it works for them.

Are you on the August 21st cruise? My husband and I are on that! Can't wait...

Never tipped a cocktail waitress before your drink in order to get it faster?

Ever tip a maitre d for a better, quieter table?

Tip a doorman to get into a club or show?

Took better care of a bartender because they "took care of you?"

Absolutely my friend!! Tipping seems like something of the past! I remember an old Matre de who taught my husband how to tip when he was 21. For ALL of the reason's above! It is amazing to see him as the OLD guy now teaching younger's how to get better tables, stronger drinks, or the doorman at a show!

Thank you for your statement. I LOVE it!

Also, I was in the service industry for 30 years. When you could send your husband and 2 (of 4) kids to college on food service, cocktail waitressing, and bartending. When hospitality WAS a career choice.

Carnival Panorama has 7 day sailings to Mexico in July & August for $189!

I know these are going to end up being canceled but a week cruise for $27 per day!

    Oh I wish! 😥

So... When my May Panorama cruise was cancelled I chose the $600 OBC and rebooked for July 11. Curious when they cancel that one will they offer even more OBC??

We will be on this cruise as well! We have started doing Thanksgiving cruises since the kids have all grown and go to all different places for Thanksgiving. We LOVE the Miracle! It is all about the crew and the service! They are amazing! How old is your granddaughter? I wish we were bringing ours! Can't wait to start cruising with her!

Same here.  I still get chocked up when I see those videos of parents surprising their kids at school when they secretly come home for leave and I was discharged from the Marines 47 years ago.

It's a shame that so few kids say the Pledge of Allegiance at school any more.  Patriotism isn't really taught like it use to be.

My son that is in the Navy used to get into trouble at school for wearing a USA t-shirt (he wore USA flag shirts ALL the time) on Cinco De Mayo. He purposely would enhance GOD bless you when someone sneezed when he was in elementary school. He was a trouble maker but I am glad he is one of America's finest! I feel safe when he is at work (how sad is that!).

Truth be told I get a little choked up myself when I use it. The younger me would be laughing at the older me.

Right?!?!?!?!?!?! My husband is the same!

Truth be told, nowadays there are so few kids enlisting that I feel like when they say it, they mean it deep down inside. Like my kids, you have to have a deep love for your country to enlist now. SO few kids are doing it! 😞

I've had cabins under the Lido on several ships - I just got off the Breeze this past week-end and was in a balcony under the Lido.  Normally, I make sure the cabin is under the seating area in the Lido restaurant and have never had an issue with noise.

On one cruise I was under the Lido pool area and there were a couple of times that I heard deck chairs being pushed around in the morning, but nothing very bad.

If I can't actually get a cabin on the Lido deck itself, I like to be on this floor for easy access to food and drinks.

I've tried different expressions but the discomfort exists with all of them- "it was an honor", "it was my pleasure", "thank you for your appreciation" are some that I've used that come to mind.

Having shared my husband and two sons, we are a huge military family. I always get emotional when the response is "it was an honor".
