Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I have sailed out of Baltimore several times in the winter without any problem. As already mentioned, the Baltimore port is smaller and much easier to navigate. The Vision is a smaller ship and very easy to find your way around. It will have fewer passengers and will not be as hectic as a larger ship. When the weather isn’t nice enough outside, the indoor pool is an option. Definitely take the longest cruise you can. It will be over before you know it. Enjoy.
  2. I was on Anthem last month. As previously stated, your sea pass card will show your assigned dining room and table. Silk and American Icon Grill (deck 4) were only used for early seating. On deck 3, The Grand was used for early and late seatings. Chic was for My Time Dining. Same menu in all four restaurants.
  3. I have this issue by the second or third day of a cruise. Ankles swell by later in day, but back to normal in morning and as soon as back home. Discussed with my cardiologist and kidney doctors. Both said that as long as swelling is gone when return home, don’t worry about it. Most common cause is the way food is prepared. Enjoy cruising and don’t be concerned about swollen ankles as long as back to normal when back to home and eating normally.
  4. When I was on Enchantment earlier this year, we had MTD. We went to the dining room after boarding and requested a MTD reservation for 7:00 every night. They were even able to reserve the same table and wait staff each night. It never hurts to ask. We did and got exactly what we wanted.
  5. I am booked on Breakaway out of NYC on Aug 21. Departure is scheduled for 11:59 PM. We could select a check-in time as early as 9:00 AM, but notified that boarding would not start until noon.
