  2. Wow... when I posted asked for stroller recommendations it was just that - I wasn't looking for a debate over whether one is needed.

If people don't see my stroller and/or trip over it, I would contend that that's *THEIR* problem, not mine.

I have a runner. When she is free, she wants to be free and run away. So for me/us, a stroller works.

I also didn't come here to discuss which stage of parenthood is/was more challenging than any others. You have no idea what challenges I/my family/other people face, so for you to act as though your stage in life is so much harder, is more than a bit unfair.

Sent from my SM-G930T using Forums mobile app

My daughter is a runner, I am sure she can run faster the Usain Bolt in the Olympics, hence the strong need for a stroller! Having the stroller on last years cruise, was a godsend! We will be using it again in August for our B2B.

It is not an inconvenience, except in my stateroom, when my daughter wanted to play with it & blocked the bathroom door or our adjoining door.. I will also be bringing a backpack with the tether on it, so I can give her some more freedom, and let herself think she is a "Big girl" and can walk on her own.

Don't let people tell you that a stroller is an inconvenience, if they can not watch their step or are in such a rush that they ignore things around them, then it is their problem, not yours! Have a blast with your little one!!

  3. we used the Summer 3D lite last summer with my then 15 month old.. We will be using it again this August with her. It was perfect! There was only a few families with little ones when we cruised last June. 3 other families had the same stroller as us (3D Summer lite)

  4. May I ask, what were the price of the drinks in Frog & Onion?

And if anyone knows, The Bone Fish Grill also. Thanks

Frog & Onion is quite pricey, for a party of 4 it cost us almost 100 for lunch, this included only 1 alcoholic drink. We usually will eat on the ship, and get ice cream in the dockyard. if we are going away from dockyard, we eat a big breakfast and just get a snack and eat when we are back on the ship

  5. Hi, we are sailing this July and want to request a cabana at Barefoot beach. For those in the know, how many weeks in advance were you able to book this? After seeing them available on the Cruise Planner under Labadee Excursions, we got excited and called, but apparently too soon. So when is it "not too soon" to make a request for one?

we booked for this August well over 100 days, I thinking it may have even been before Christmas when we booked our Cabana for our August cruise

  6. Does the beach beds on Andreliane beach provide enough shade? Also, the RC website says minimum age for the cabanas is 4 years old. Has anyone had any experience taking a younger child to the cabanas. Grandson is 15 months and I want to be able to provide a place to nap during the day and I’m trying to decide between the cabana and the beach bed. Thanks!

Age is nothing you need to worry about, since only 1 name needs to be renting the cabana, that person needs to be over 4.. we took my daughter last June in a cabana & she was 15 months old. We will be getting a cabana this August and she will be almost 2 & 1/2

A cabana with a young child is great!!

  7. we met as a very small group, there were only 6 or 8 people doing a B2B, we were escorting off & then back on. We were numbers 1, 2 & 3 back on the ship! Then we could do what we want, we were not given a special lunch, I think because there was only a few of us,

We have a B2B again coming in August on the Anthem, many times they will set up a private lunch for any B2Bers, so we are hoping this will be true for us.

  8. I took my 15 month old this past June to the free play time, we were the only ones there during these times, which was fine with me. We also took advantage of the toy lending, saved me from having to pack so many toys for her.. we will be taking advantage of it again this coming August on our B2B on the Anthem.

  9. on RCCL we have always been able to carry food to our cabins, we are given covers from the dining room, as to bags, I am not sure.

Are you not planning on eating in the dining room? In past experience pre-ordering meals, the meals are served at our dining time, no need to bring back to room for the next day unless you wanted leftovers or dessert..

  10. I wonder if this deal is more for people disembarking a cruise in St maarten in the morning and taking a late afternoon flight back home? We have frequently had people ask where they can store their luggage/hang out before their flight. For that purpose I can see this type of day pass but not for a cruiser.

It's possible, but we have been to St. Maarten so may times on cruise stops, that we wanted to do something different, we are thinking about doing a day rental, it is also one of the few hotels that is back to normal, many of the resort for a day hotels are still closed...
