Going with a group currently of 14, what is the likely we can all sit together for dinner in the MDR, and do we request this in advance?

Sea day.
We are considering an Amber Cove/Labadee/Coco Cay sailing..a sea day in lieu would suck:(
-
Is there any idea IF Labadee was cancelled, where it would port in lieu of?

Are you only going to Hellesylt, and not Geiranger? If so, do you know which waterfall?
In Geiranger, the Storseter waterfall hike is a common cruise excursion, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The hike is mostly through an upper valley with very little view of the iconic fjord below. I much prefer the hikes to the Vesteråsfjellet or Løsta overlooks. If you’re visiting on of the most iconic fjords on the planet, I think it’s worth getting great views of said fjord.
It only lists Hellesylt, so ya I think so. I think its this-Helllesytfosse?

Looking for some input/advice/suggestions (family with older teens/young adults) on our itin for August-N Europe 7 day and we'd like to explore Copenhagen for a day since its our embarkation port..ports in Norway/Germany, and would like to head to Sweden for a night pre cruise. Obviously we still need to drill down our plans better, but its a start..we dont love museum type things, do like outdoors/local snacks.
Arrive Copenhagen on Friday and either go straight to Malmo Sweden for a night, then back to Copenhagen to explore for Saturday to Sunday..or arrive in Copenhagen on Friday and explore/stay from Friday to Saturday, then Saturday head to Malmo for the night, and return Sunday for cruise..not sure which is best?
Malmo-pedal boats/hike..?
Copenhagen-stromma canal cruise/round tower/rosenborg castle
Hellesylt-hike/waterfall..?
Molde-caves/aker stadium/varden hike/gondola
Flam-zipline/hike
Kiel-sub..?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry to be a bit blunt, but if you had actually read the page I linked to you would have seen this paragraph:
Reaching the end of the zipline at Kårdal summer farm, a member of staff will help you get off and out of the harness. From here you can either walk or jump on a bicycle (must be rented in advance) and ride the 18 kilometres downhill to Flåm, or you can walk 2,5 kilometres to Blomheller station and catch the next train to Flåm or Myrdal.
No, you don't hike back up the mountain. You walk to a lower station at Blomheller and return to Flåm.
Ok, so there is no ticket option to include the return fare, just a combo for first leg of train to the zip and zip itself. The train ticket after hike from Blomheller would be a separate purchase, and could be filled so should book in advance?

If you bike back you bike all the way. You can also hike to the closest train station and take the train back to Flåm.
If we hiked, would we hike back to the original station of Vatnahalsen? And about how long would that take, and is there a route/signs that we would know where to go? And if we did this, and bought the zip/train package would the train ticket back also be included?
Trying to make a half day or so at least out of it so we dont just do the zipline, so a hike would be nice to add..because I think commiting to a 2 hr bike ride may be a bit much for us.

It is accessed from the Vatnahalsen station on the Flåm railway. Combo tickets are available here

Thank you, Im very interested!
Just trying to understand-you get off the cruise at Flam port, walk to Vatnahalsen train, then about how long is the train ride? Train will take us right to the start of the zipline? Take zipline. Then we can either walk or bike back to the train, is this correct, and also how long of a hike/bike, reasonably doable, we are not super athletes, but also in ok shape? Then train will take us back to cruise port area?
-
Any clue how far the beginning and end location of the zipline is to the port?
-
Helleyslt, Molde, Flam
Is there a cool zipline at any of these ports..or if there is at multiple, is one better? Also open to other fun things to do at these ports..we would be interested in anything hikes/glacier/whale:)

I have a question..we have airfare booked thru Delta (main cabin) for a cruise in October out of Florida..we didnt get them for particularly cheap/good deal and theyre bad connections but we booked as we had vouchers that were expiring Dec 31. We had been wondering if we could change these flights and use the "credit/money paid" for a better destination ie Hawaii cruise etc..then this week we happened to get an email saying there was a change to our October Florida flight, which impacts these flights by a few hours..(not the biggest deal but it makes our connection even longer)..it then says go into My Trips etc to change if this doesnt work for you. If we were to change these flights, I know we can change for different dates or even destinations, but is it possible to "bank" the amount paid until we decide what our next destination is, or do we have to make the change to a new flight right away? We were hoping to just pay for Florida out of pocket as we can usually find much cheaper than what we got, and use the Delta $ to go elsewhere but havent nailed down where yet. Hope this makes sense!
Alos, anyone know when Delta will release 2025 dates?

Any ports that stick out in regards to zipline adventure type thing, or seeing whales?
-
Thanks all, this is helpful info!
Are any of these Norway ports just sail thru/fjords? I know on our Alaska cruise there were some ports noted but we didnt actually get off, they were just sail thru..
-
Based on things to do/see/great ports vs mediocre Id like to decide between 2 itins and which ports to use as my embark/disembark ports vs visit (of course I know I can add a day or 2 pre or post cruise, but I dont think that will be an option for us..any advice is appreciated! Seems like soo many Norway options I wouldnt know where to start 😕
Kiel Germany
Warnemunde Germany
Stockholm Sweden
Copenhagen Denmark
Skagen Denmark
Bergen Norway
Hellesylt Norway
Geiranger Norway
Stavanger Norway
Flam Norway
Alesund Norway
Kristiansand Norway

Is there an actual court/net, or are they referring to the sports court in general..where you could technically play anything?
-
Are there comedy shows/comedians? Specifically on US sailings?

Thanks I have looked on the website, I cant seem to find an entry only fee..just all inclusive and other "romantic" or "horseback" etc..
-
Anyone know the entrance fee for either..just to enter/seats/use ocean? And can you just show up or need reservations?
-
I checked the website but Im not sure I understand pricing..do you have to choose all inclusive? If not, what is the price just to enter/chairs?

Ah… Taino Bay has the lazy river that is free to access. They have some restaurants and bars that are what I would call decent prices.
What port is this in?

Having done this itinerary several times, we head to Royal Palms Beach Club in Grand Cayman where we rent a cabana (we just grab a van taxi at the port along w/ 8 of our new "best friends"), in Ocho Rios you can walk off the ship to Margarittaville beach club where we do the VIP pkg which includes beach chairs, a beach side safe for valuables and a round of margaritas. Cozumel, it's Mr Sanchos all the way! VIP pkg, of course (unlimited drinks and food)!
We love this intin so much, we're doing it again in March 2024. It's a great beach day schedule, if that's what you're looking for like we do!
Thanks, this is exactly what we're looking for! Is the one in Ocho Rios the one iwth the trampoline in the water?
-
We really wouldnt need the drink pkg, but recall back in the day a few drink vouchers came with fantastica pkg I believe..is this still an option?
-
Thanks guys, I meant more so the ease of Amber Cove and Gran Turk where you dont really have to leave the port area/can spend the day there fairly inexpensive:)
Max # of people you can sit with in MDR?

Thanks all, we did it last year every night on another line but only 11 of us at a large round table and we enjoyed being together, this time we're adding 3..but would be happy with 2 beside each other as well!
