There are emails going out, we just had one saying ship changed etc and
As gesture of commercial courtesy, we would like to offer you:
- An onboard credit of €200 onboard credit per cabin (€100 per single cabin occupancy) for 7-nights cruises or longer.
We will assume your acceptance of this change of itinerary unless we hear from your agent via email at operationsuk@msccruises.co.uk within 30 working days from receipt of this communication. The payment already made for the previous cruise will be transferred on the new reservation. Please note that the updated reservation should be available to view in your My MSC Area.

In latest announcement which someone posted on Facebook, MSC say they hope to restart Mediterranean cruises in August and subject to the new protocols being agreed by authorities they will announce ships and itineraries on 15/07.

If you are on Facebook someone has copied the update from the USA site to the MSC U.K. & ROI forum. Says they are planning to announce on 15/07 which Mediterranean itineraries will be run and what ships from August 1st subject to getting final approval.
also a lot about cancellations in Northern Europe etc.

We had the premium drinks package included for free with our reservation, I think the days of those freebies are long gone .
The freebies may come back to entice people back when cruising returns! we have the premium included for our cruise in Mediterranean next March, ship changed to Grandiosa but same dates& itinerary

Looks like they may have some agreement with European authorities to restart soon, maybe missing Spain to start off.

Same here got cabin on Grandiosa changed from virtuosa, same itinerary with 200 euros OBC. They changed my dining time to late on request and sent me a list of available cabins which I could request change to. In the end we stuck with the angled balcony cabin with larger balcony on deck 11 , we originally had an aft facing balcony but only one left was deck 14 under buffet so decided against moving.

This has been published in last day setting out possible regulations for restart, assume CDC will do something similar soon.

Got allocated 200 euros OBC for change of ship from virtuosa to Grandiosa, same itinerary so very happy with that as ships virtually identical.

No one from U.K. & Europe will be allowed to travel to USA or South America anytime soon due to virus out of control. I would think all those over the pond except Canada will be banned from Europe for some time.

Ok must depend on dates, i priced up moving some in July to next year and price difference was large c £80 each plus fee change. we're members of the flight club so wouldn't need to pay changes but just waiting to see if flights get cancelled first so get completely free change.

Tired of bad news. Wish they would quit repeating that EU bans USA travellers.
China only approved if they reciprocate, Canada is on list.
USA, Russia and turkey didn't make list despite intense lobbying by their representatives, probably more from turkey and Russia.

There not going to these lengths for land based holidays, Spain will welcome millions of tourists this summer from all over Europe and other than wearing face masks when in enclosed spaces and social distancing there will not be many restrictions.
This will be the same across Europe.

Booking some for European travel have gone through the roof since news was leaked, all main European countries will be on list except Sweden and Portugal apparently.

Well U.K. Is opening borders for European travel on 6th July and as soon as news leaked, flight and hotel bookings went through the roof with prices going the same way.
those who booked in anticipation of a change in
policy got deals at less than half current prices.

Not in U.K. Or Europe but offering stress free booking at present which means you can change upto 15 days before sailing for any reason.

Yes that seems to be the plan, seashore delayed until August and virtuosa until May.

I was, of course, only interested in my booking, originally on MSC Seaview, from Barcelona to Dubai through the Suez canal, 21 nights, on 14 November.
MSC confirmed that Seaview is NOT going to be in the Med this Autumn. Our booking has been transferred to MSC Fantasia, same dates, times and itinerary.
This has all been actioned in the last hour.
They are writing to our TA, confirming the changes, and revised pricing and offering compensation, although this early after the change was made, no indication as to how much.
So, I don't know now. We had an Aurea suite with a whirlpool on the balcony
We will still have an Aurea suite, but no whirlpool. Maybe if the compensation is enough, we could upgrade to YC.
I don't know what to do........
The compensation amounts are in announcements, 200euros OBC for balcony cabin and above for 7 days or more don't think that will buy a YC upgrade!!

Seaview is not operating in Med now , Fantasia is taking over Dubai sailings and Grandiosa taking over Virtuosa sailings as well as other changes to ships/itineraries. Check your account online and see what changes you have !!

The T&C'c do allow for the ship to change, unsurprisingly.
I realize that it's just that the Aurea facilities are much better on Seaview than Fantasia,let's see if any compensation issued or may transfer to next year.

We had email as well about changes, you have 30 working days to decline change otherwise they assume you have accepted all changes. If declined you have option of FCC or refund.
