They have been stringing us all along for days now, while NCL and RCL have already issued refunds above and beyond the price of the cruise. In my opinion, Carnival is being very greedy about this whole situation. Hopefully at 1:00 today I'll have a real answer...

we are sailing on the Conquest on 9/9 (now 9/13). We waited and waited and then waited some more just to tell us that they want to keep our money and not cancel just head to Cozumel for a 4 day cruise. I am so mad at Carnival i could scream. :mad:

I could not get a answer from my contact at Carnival either. I believe it takes a day and a half to get there. But that is based off friends who have been there before not experience. I would like to know what the difference in price is as well, how much will be refunded.

I am also on this cruise and very upset that they did not just cancel it. And now there is a earthquake that hit Mexico. We are not destined for vacation this week.

i want to know what the new pro rate is for our Carnival Conquest cruise. It is supposed to be leaving on the 12th for a 4 day (down from a 7) to Cozumel. That is IF Fort Lauderdale can open the port. I would rather it be canceled. I have no desire to be on such a short cruise. But since this will be the first and last time I book with Carnival I do not want a cruise credit.

We leave the 9th from Fort Lauderdale on the Conquest for our first cruise. I am watching this hurricane like a crazy woman. I know I can't change the weather but I did so much research into our ports!!!

I hope she doesn't cause to much distruction or ruin to many vacation plans.

I bet this will be the only time I use my passport. I just want to show them to my kids.

I know the days of places stamping passports is probably behind us. But I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a way to get my passport stamped while on my cruise. We are going to Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas and Amber cove.

I thought it would be cool to show the kids when we get home.

Just bought a underwater camera.

Always been a Canon girl but my last camera was a Nikon.

My new underwater is a Fujifilm xp120. I will most likely only bring it with me. I use my phone for most pictures at home but since my camera was 1/4 the price of my phone I think my phone will stay on the ship. Or in a waterproof bag in the beach bag.

I don't have a fancy camera for cruising. I bought a fujifilm xp120 for our cruise. It was cheap and had okay reviews. When we tested it in the pool the pictures looked awesome.

12 days 20 hours!!! Woooot.
