On Anthem's 8 niter, they added a British night theme.
That’s what they did on Jewel 8 night last week.

Hurricane Irma, we were there pre and post Irma, even 5 years later there is sadly still evidence of the destruction. It was interesting to hear our guides firsthand experience with being on the island at that time. Lunch consisted of sandwiches and chips on the boat as well as beer and rum. One of the stops is Pinel Island and there is a small bar & grill there to enjoy. Agree, we would do it again.
We were on Jewel last week and did tours of both St. Maarten and St. Croix. There are people living in houses where Irma had blown the roofs off. They can’t afford to fix them. There is so much destruction. Very sad.

If the rooms are adjacent or across the hall from each other, the 17-year-old should be able to stay alone. My grandchildren, 15, 14 and 12, were able to stay alone across the hall from their parents. They did book it through a travel agent however.

Yes, there seems to be a problem today.

Nice review. What an ordeal getting home! I am hoping to enjoy Giovanni’s wheat-free on Jewel later this month.

Just be warned when linking reservations your MDR dining times must match. We are having a grand time sorting this issue out. We knew we would have UDP so didn’t really pay attention to this detail when booking.
Thanks. We all have MTD.

That is really odd. We didn't need DOB to make reservations for Chops or Jaimies on our linked cruise end of March. I don't think I needed them last year when we had a linked cruise then. Is this something new?
I don’t know. I thought I just needed their res number. Maybe because we weren’t linked at the time. Once I made reservations for all of us, it seems we are now linked.

You can do it the app. (Need names and their res #.) But we always have our TA do it.
I also needed their dates of birth to make specialty dining reservations.

81 plus humidity = air conditioning for us. Also, 81 = no see ums so no opening windows = air conditioning. Plus the pollen is very high right now.
Absolutely! We never open the windows!

You folks think you’ve got problems, my number is 8675309.
I just sang that in my head.
I just did our check-in and my husband’s number wasn’t recognized once again. I have called about it before; this time I just took it out. -

Sorry, no idea. We don't usually cruise out of T5 or T6. It's almost always T1
Okay thanks

Sigh...same thing happened with us. Even bad at terminal six next door.
Boarded Jewel last month at T6, which then came back to T5. We are back again for a B2B at T5 on the 25th.
And...."sea" you on board. 😉
That sounds awful. We will be joining you also on March 25. Do you know if it is easy to get a wheelchair after parking if needed?

Thanks so much, Sherri. We'll be going in March as well.....3/25. Appreciate your feedback.
We will be on Jewel on March 25 also. Can’t wait!

I always check with him before I book but he never asks about any details until a month or two before we go.

We use Allianz also. They paid very quickly when my husband fell the week before the cruise and we had to cancel. No experience with medical claims during the cruise.

I’m not sure if others on this sailing had the issues with log in, but I just got back in, after a couple of days. Looking forward to the upcoming 8 sea days, and getting on the slides. My daughter told me not to be getting on Flowrider, since I would break a hip…she’s funny!!!
I’ve had to log in every day and even then I would be logged out, then all of a sudden logged in again.

There are so few passengers that there are no lines for anything!
The staff are amazing everywhere and enjoying the fact that that there are more crew than passengers on this cruise! 😂
Sounds wonderful but I wonder how a Caribbean cruise in March will be.

The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware is a good fun mystery. It does take place on a cruise ship, although a very small one.

Looking forward to it! We will be on Jewel in March for the first time.

My husband and I submitted our applications in the same envelope, one check, and received new ones in separate envelopes, on the same day about 5 weeks later.

Everything seems fine in Lake Worth but nearby Delray Beach had a lot of damage from a tornado hitting a senior condominium. Roofs gone and cars overturned.

I loved Symphony but my mobility challenged husband found it exhausting. We are trying Jewel in March, which should suit him better.

My sister was in 1044 on Jewel a couple of weeks ago and only heard the thumping of probably a treadmill a couple of times. Didn’t bother her at all.
