We are in cabin 16025. Will we have the same problem? There are currently openings on deck 18 and 19. Should we move our cabin?

We made the reservations once we were on board. We also embarked in Marseille and had no trouble making the reservations for the days/times we wanted.

We were on Europa last June with our family, including a six year old and two 12 year olds. In the MDR, the kids usually ordered off the regular menu but had the kids menu (similar to those posted by Essiesmom) to fall back on if there wasn't anything they liked. While the adults went to Butchers Cut, the kids did not so I don't know what is available in that specialty restaurant for kids. We all went to Hola! and Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar and all three loved those two restaurants. Enjoy your trip! It really is a beautiful ship!

I just saw this and might be too late to answer the OP but here goes. We were on World Europa last June. The men in our group did wear shorts to dinner and it was no problem. These were all very nice golf shorts. The weather was extremely hot so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I could be wrong, but I believe the pre and post excursions for these cruises are not available because the ship is embarking and disembarking passengers at every port. We get on in Marseille and are not able to book excursions in Marseille but can in all other ports. This is in response to OP's question.
