arriving on Jewel of the Seas Jan 29th. Seems that lately she has been docking at Crown Bay, we would much rather be at Havensight. Is there anyway to know so we can plan beach excursion ahead of time...

Haven't picked a hotel yet, just booked flights last night for July 30 cruise, just wondering about shuttle since we are not going right from the airport. Also looking at staying in POM area

we would like to stay in Fort Lauderdale at the beach the day before a cruise from Miami. Anyone ever do that? What shuttle service picks you up at FLL beach and drops you at a ship at the Port of Miami ?

A few years back we went to a beach in Curaçao after being dropped off at the aquarium, we walked several blocks to a beach that had a rock breakwater off the beach. Can anyone tell me what beach that was so we can ask the cb driver to drop us right off there and not at the aquarium...... 25dbb

Love your review Radio.
When you went to 7 mile beach in Grand Cayman, did you take the public bus or a taxi? Was there a fee at the Marriott for the day or could you just rent chairs/umbrellas.....

We have a chance to upgrade to Yacht club but are concerned about the dress being formal all the time or is the same as the rest of the ship? We don't mind dressing up on formal nights, but not every night and want to relax during the day. Any recent YC cruisers, any info please.....

How is the dress in the Yacht Club? Must you be "formal" all the time?

My daughter and I are going on Divina in June, we are RCCL veterans. How are the pool towels given out and replaced on MSC. We heard that you get one only in your cabin and it gets replaced each evening. Is there anywhere on the pool deck or where you get back on the ship where you can exchange a wet, sandy towel for a fresh one???? Can you get more than one???

On Adventure if February, no horse racing. There hasn't been any horse racing on any Royal ship we've been on in many years....when we asked why, they said it was up to each cruise director..... 25dbb

My daughter and I are also going on Divina and would like to hear if anyone went on this excursion...

Just booked Divina for June and booking agent with MSC says vouchers have your name on them and must be presented to bartender with cruise card and names must match. So which is it? Recent cruisers, sound off......can be shared or not?

Thanks for your input. We've actually got bumped up once and got on an 8:15am flight (they asked us to bump from a noon flight because we were there at 7:30) but that was from a Fort Lauderdale ship. I know you could never plan that, but it was great to be home (in PA) by noon! The later choices of flights from FLL are basically double the price of those before noon

I need opinions on how early we can book a flight home after a Saturday morning cruise ship debarkation from Port of Miami. How early is too early? Never were on MSC before and don't know how early you can get off, then with customs, and the shuttle ride, airport check in and TSA...... Is 10:45 too early? Your thoughts...

Does MSC have early debarking carrying your own luggage before the general people are allowed off. Royal Caribbean has "walk off" before regular debarking for those who can carry their own luggage off the ship and it is ideal for those with early flights. Does MSC have this? We are checking into booking flights home from Divina from Fort Lauderdale and are wondering how early.....

We were on the same sailing and got to the port at approx 10:45am. line was already quite long, and since we are diamond plus, we found the suites, d+, pinnacle line. The let one group thru our line at a time when embarkation started, two then three from regular line. The people in the regular line got into the big registration room before we did, so much for "priority" boarding.
Mercedes was ok, it is like spending the week with Sophia Vergara from Modetn Family.
We've been on the Adventure many times, it does need a dry dick, which is coming up, especially to redo the bedding. Beds are hard as a rock, had the cabin steward put a duvet under the sheets, but still hard. We just to get an egg crate mattress topper, but we were told Royal doesn't do those anymore.
All in all a great vacation.

Arriving in Dominica on Wednesday Feb 3rd on Adventure, which pier does it dock at? We were there two years ago and docked at an industrial area, not in the town. Is there any way to know where we are at this time???

Booked this hotel for pre-cruise stay for January, interested in what is in the area around this hotel, restaurants, stores, etc, within a reasonable walking distance. We are getting in very late afternoon and plan on enjoying the infinity pool during the evening, would just like to venture out for last minute stuff if needed or a quick breakfast in the morning

Thanks for the info!
