Icemaiden, which cruise were the photos taken? We were on the one with you in June and I recognise the lady who 'fancies teddy'.
I must say though, I never once saw teddy. I think he is too much of a party animal to mix with the likes of me. Plus, he looks like he sunbaked too often. He is very pink. :p
Looks like you had a heap of fun.

Hat clips. It can be very windy when tendering or just being on deck. Never lose your hat over the side again. These are two alligator clips with a small length of cord between them that clip your hat to your shirt.
Travel Thermos Cups. We took two of these. We are early risers and we filled them up with coffee, grabbed a croissant or danish (or both) :) and headed up on deck to watch the sun come up and enjoy the early morning. Our coffee stayed hot and didn't spill. They were great. Buy short, stocky ones. Why? Because ours were a bit too tall when we filled them at the coffee machine.

I've emailed HostWalt and asked if this thread could be a sticky thread. (it would stay at the top)
I think it is a great idea.

Pacific Sun - 6 June 2006. N618
Pentecost, Luganville, Vila, Wala, Mystery Island and Noumea. We should've gone to Isle of Pines but the sea was too rough so we detoured to Noumea.

Hello everyone,
Funny this should be mentioned now, we are currently on board the Sun cruising through this passage now.
The swell was too rough for us to anchor at the isle of pines today. the ship rocked violentally and tables where ripped of the bases in the lido deck cafe as passengers grabbed them for support - food went everywhere....
We are being diverted to Noumea hopefully we can dock there. It's been a great trip so far.

Cruise parking in Sydney - Wilson Parking
in P&O Cruises ( Australia )
Posted
I want to thank whoever it was who first mentioned Wilson Parking at Harbourside, Darling Harbour. They let you leave your car there for the duration of the cruise.
They quoted $140.00 for 10 days and $14.00 per day thereafter.
THIS IS CHEAP
Living in the Hunter Valley, it is a lot easier to drive down and park than get a shuttle such as Happy Cabby.
We went with Happy Cabby last time and it cost us $140.00 each return to Darling Harbour.
The worst part is they go 'all around the world' and pick up heaps of people from all over and it takes hours longer to get to Sydney and of course the same amount of time to get home. You are squashed in those tiny and uncomfortable minibus seats for hours.
Now we will just drive down ourselves.
Think of the cocktails I can buy with the money I have saved. :p
I'm hoping that the Wilson Parking at Circular Quay will let us do the same when we go on the Dawn in November.
How do others get to the wharf?
