  1. I’ll check now as I’m watching the Chiefs getting their butts kicked by the Broncos.
  2. I got you . I really hope that is what is going on because that can be adjusted or fixed.
  3. Thank you that makes sense. I will talk to my doctor and see if I can take something else when I go on a cruise.
  4. I take Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. I never have any problems with edema until I go on a cruise. Then it happens every time. Thoughts?
  5. My blood pressure medicine does have a diuretic in it. I was on another blood pressure Med that was causing swelling and he switched me to another. May need to try something else.
  6. A Fairy Tale.... What else can I say about the excursion with Captain Tom and the amazing Chillout Charters Boat. It was was the best day ever. Good friends, beautiful day? And some painkillers even though it may not have helped my knee pain go completely away but it did give me a very happy glow. The day was just magical, a fairy tale but then again I'm a guy so maybe a comic book story? ENJOY!!
  7. Thank you for recognizing my sacrifice. 🤣 Good to know I did not know that. Thanks.
  8. Yeah I have a 10 day on Celebrity Beyond in April. It does worry me. I maybe need to wear the compression stockings at night in the cabin. Yes I drank a lot of water. I need to try this. Let me know how well it works next month on Harmony. We've experienced it on out last three cruises, Liberty, Oasis and on Adventure. I think it is ship wide after they changed MTD. Key is to talk to the Dining Room Manager. I found that to be true.
  9. Yes I drink a lot more of those cocktails than I ever do at home. I'm sure they don't help. May just need to drink my bourbon neat. Problem is I really like all those other ocktails.
  10. Finally had a decent night sleep but I had to get my feet elevated to try and reduce my cankles. This morning the swelling has gone down quite a bit. Still wish I figure out besides the salt in food and being in tge salty air and sea on a cruise ship why mine swell more than usual. By day 7 on the cruise my feet and ankles were larger than Fred Flintstones. Sorry for the gross pictures. So I tried water pills, elevation of my feet and compression stockings and nothing seems to work during a cruise. It’s weird that after being home not only a full day how much the swelling has gone down. I’ve read that the salty air causes a lot. I don’t want to stop cruising but I need to solve this issue as it limits my ability to enjoy myself on a cruise.
  11. I was surprised that it actually did help. A couple times I forgot to put it on while walking around the ship and got hurting pretty fast. This brace really helped me keep the knee stable. https://a.co/d/9U73Jhk
  12. Yes because all they want from us is to play fetch. Something’s never change.
  13. Home Lizzy and Charlie sure missed us. Good to be home but not to 36 degrees and rain. I’m ready to back out on a cruise.
  14. That will be in a separate email trust me. Linda complained about pricing in her survey.
  15. Thank you Pat. I am hopeful that will be the case. I just am tired of hurting all he time.
  16. We did get a update from our pet sitter and she says our fur babies are good. She sent us pictures as they are waiting patiently for us to come home.
  17. Bottom line is that I want the company to succeed but in order to do that they must listen to their experienced long time cruisers.
  18. Yes I was allowed but there is rumor and speculation that it may end. I just sent my editorial to the powers to be.
  19. OMG that’s hysterical. I did not see how they toasted mine but that’s too funny.
