  1. Dress slacks and a nice button down shirt is perfectly fine. I remember going on my first cruise when i was 12 (SS Seabreaze 38 now) formal night was Tuxedos, suits and Gowns even for the kids. Call me traditional but I still wear a suit and tie on elegant night, but this does not mean dressing down is a bad thing.

I was on the Regal Princess in 2016 and it was much more formal.

  2. So, i am 38 male and less then a year ago i was over 200lbs. The heaviest i have ever been was about 230 so for a guy that is 5'9 that is pretty big. I am going on a cruise on the 21st of january and for the past 3 months i have changed my diet and can proudly say i stepped on the scale this morning and i am now weigh 167lbs. I am so excited as this will be the first cruise i go on where i feel as if i look good for my age without a shirt lol. Hope everyone has the same success i did!

  3. The Bayport Terminal closed in the spring of 2016. We last sailed out of there in January of that year, not because we prefer the location, but because we prefer Princess, which was sailing from that terminal. On at least one cruise from that terminal, we were unable to sail at the scheduled time and had to wait until the next morning.

I'm going to have to check my old photos of the Barbour's Cut terminal. It was small, but I don't recall it being a tent. We sailed out of there twice on the Norwegian Sea, a ship we thoroughly enjoyed.

Wow, bringing back memories, i was cruise staff on the Norwegian sea, was on her through her decommision.
