Just got off the Apex on Saturday and we booked a cruise while on board, is it true you have 30 days to change to another sailing without penalty?

I am currently on the Apex….. on my sea pass card it says Blue Chip with Pearl underneath…. what is Blue Chip ?

We are flying in from New England 2 days before our cruise, I have got our covid tests from Celebrity, it says you need to do it on line, is this something we can do with our phone or are we better off bringing a lap top down ?

What do you mean by not up to date, that they don’t carry the most recent or current versions?

You have decided you will never sail Celebrity again because 75 days before your cruise the upgraded drink package is not showing on your reservation ? I decide by the actual cruise if it is worth sailing with a certain company…..I guess everyone is different in what they determine is important when it comes to cruising.

Have a cruise that is 53 days out and I can’t start my check in. I thought once you made final payment you could check in ? If not when can you ?

This would not be an offered upgrade, we are before final payment and prices have dropped on this cruise.

Yes, this is a 7 day cruise…. it is $600 per cabin ($300 pp).

Currently have a Sunset Veranda on Edge, for about $600 we can upgrade to a sky suite….is it worth it ?
Also do Sky Suite balconies have the ability to connect since we are traveling with another couple ?

If I don’t like entertainment and don’t go to shows should I have to pay for that ?😉

200 drinks on a 7 day cruise would be about 28 drinks per day, I don’t think there is a limit but if you have 28 drinks in a day....I doubt you are having 28 the following day.

Have a 1st week in December cruise this year, with airfares at a very reasonable price at the moment, not sure at what point I should be confident that Celebrity will be up and sailing by then and to pull the trigger on booking flights.

When does everyone think cruises will start up on a regular basis, May -June or end of 2021, or will this coming up year be a complete wash ?

My upcoming May 10th Cruise with Celebrity Cruises on the Millennium from Tokyo to Vancouver was recently cancelled by Celebrity because of the Coronavirus. I have no issue with Celebrities decision to cancel the cruise, safety first, what. I have received only one email from Celebrity informing me that I will receive a refund for the cruise passage only, to be issued back to my credit card after two billing cycles. My prepaid non-changeable and non-refundable hotels and airfare cost would only be reimbursed up to a maximum amount of $300 upon submittal of the cancellation receipts.
As I have expended over $3,000 on non-refundable, non-changeable airfares and hotels associated with this cruise, its safe to say that I am not happy with Celebrity Cruises. To add insult to injury, the email stated that I would be receiving a $300 voucher for a future cruise with Celebrity. I would like to tell them what they can do with there voucher only my complaint might not be posted.
To date all of my emails to Celebrity Cruises have gone unanswered and so it's safe to say that I will never book a Cruise with Celebrity again and would advise those who are planning a cruise to avoid Celebrity. They have a reimbursement policy and a customer service department that is non-existent (except for new bookings) when an issue arises or a legitimate request for a refund is made.
PS: This is the first review that I have ever Posted, be it for a hotel, a restaurant or a cruise line and I am a frequent cruiser, which should tell you the level of dissatisfaction that I have with Celebrity.
So you say you will never sail Celebrity again, do you think any other cruise line would handle things different (refund hotels and airfares you made on your own)?

If you cancel a cruise you certainly don’t get credit for Captains Club points...am I reading or understanding the question correctly?

Are you talking about your sea pass ? That is only made available by Celebrity and you will receive them when you check in or will be waiting for you at your state room.

No, you just won’t be able to upgrade your tequila to a Patron or other top shelf brands.

With the new celebrity app, you can scan your passport and save time checking in, we did this on our cruise in December on the Summit.
I am now trying to do the same for my January cruise on the Equinox, my sea pass is reading Expedited arrival but my wife’s does not and when I try to scan it again it doesn’t seem to read the info off of her passport.
Any suggestions ?

I got back a few weeks ago from a cruise on the Summit. We used the ap to register for our sea pass and our sea pass’s were labeled expedited arrival.
Did the same this time and when I retrieve my sea pass from the app , it does not say it is expedited ?
Any thoughts why?

I got this message once when trying to enter a credit card number, sometimes their system won’t take any cards and you just need to try later.

Just heard on our local news (Boston), that Royal Caribbean and Norwegian have started canceling cruises, has anyone else heard this ?
