We have also travelled on over 60 cruises with Princess , Holland America , Royal Caribbean  and are Elite Plus with Celebrity.  We enjoyed them all but unfortunately my David passed away in September so my cruising days are over. I have so many wonderful memories.  We met so many wonderful people while cruising. Many visited us on Stoney Lake. I live in Peterborough Ontario.  So I will keep reading the boards

Remember  the threatening cyclone In New Zealand.  They took everyone off the ship the Millie and put her out to sea. We flew back to Toronto that day. Sherrill. 

Just talking to one of our friends  who's daughter  is in Sydney going to university there. 

We went from Rome to Singapore on one of the Princess ships. It was quite an experience going through the Suez Canal. . Love reading all your posts. Christmas  will be a little sad without David but we have 3 children and 5 grandchildren 2 .sets of twins and a single that we see.

.I keep thinking about all the cruises we did and all the wonderful people we met

Thanks Jim and Iain for your  kind thoughts. Stay healthy.  It is great seeing all the pictures. We did a trip through the Suez Canal and then went to Singapore and India. So many fond memories. David's ashes are here for now. We will do a celebration of his life at Stoney Lake Ontario . He loved his cottage.

Hi there. Belated Happy Birthday Jim. I just finished  reading all the posts.We were on crossing years ago to  with you  to Japan. After doing over 60 cruises we saw a great deal of the world. David died  on September 18th so no more cruises, He was 97 and had a good life. After 62 years of marriage l miss him terribly . Keep cruising and stay healthy.  He ran until he was 9l.

You make my day. David is now 96 and he had to go in to a long term care home. Very lonely after 61 years of marriage. 

No more cruising for us. So I look forward to your posts. We both enjoyed meeting you on the Trans Pacific crossing a in September 2018 on the Millenium. I followed all of your adventures.  Keep cruising as long as you can .I have lost track but I think we have done over 60. Started with Regent Holidays in Toronto.  We are Elite Plus with Celebrity.  Also been on Holland America  and Princess. Our son met his wife on the Jupiter

I just remembered  that we had been on Regent HolidayCruises before Celebrity.  They would charter cruises leaving from Toronto including  air. Ontario Cruiser

This was our first cruise with Celebrity we are Elite Plus now. Unfortunately we haven't sailed in two years.  Now we have health issues.  I really miss  cruising.

We sailed from this port 3 times Century once and Summit twice. All to Hawaii. Sherrill  Last time on the Millie tranpacific another time Alaska. Great memories

I  Iam so jealous.  I wish I could go. But i read all your posts  Sherrill 

I so enjoyed you adventures.  It was fun to see all those  islands that we have cruised so often.

Time to Chime In. We were on the Trans Pacific Cruise with you in 2018  or maybe it was 2017. Unfortunately  our cruising  days are also over. David is 95 and we both have health issues We were lucky to Cruise most of the world  60 cruises. I have enjoyed your blog. Brings back so many memories. Last  Cruise  was 2019 on the Summit from San Juan.  Did have the Infinity booked for the the crossing last April

Our last cruise  was on the Summit jan 15th 2020 fom San Juan.  I don't  think I will be cruising again and will miss cruising. Ontario  cruiser

UNFORTUNATELY  We will stay home. I fear our cruising days are over. My husband is 94.and I am 83 we had to cancel the Infinity  crossing last April we  might have to cancel our Xmas plans with our children  which breaks my heart.

We could go to an AI but flying seems a little scary. So for now the big excitement is going to Aquafit. Hopefully it won't  be too cold here in Peterborough.  So stay safe everyone.

Just  received our air refund for April 25th refund for return  from Spain on may 9th  non refundable ticket west jet I finally  went to Mastercard  and filed a claim.

Did you have a refundable or non refundable  ticket?

If Ceebrity instead of refunding issued an open ticket they need Westjet  to tell them that the ticket is refundable then Celebrity  will  credit your credit card. for the airfare
