Carnival and the other cruise lines contract with other vendors to provide the scooters. Carnival may "advertise" them for rent but the scooters themselves aren't owned by the cruise lines or at least none were.when I was a TA.

Correct. Carnival has provided a few wheelchairs but they are not guaranteed.

At some ports, you can pick the pre-arranged scooter up at a kiosk in the terminal, rather than in your cabin.  Unless there was a sign from the vendor that they were for rent, they were most likely scooters that had been rented and were waiting to be placed in the cabins, or had been used on the previous cruise and were waiting to be picked up by the vendor.  EM

I imagine prearranged would go through the dock, not the passenger ramp.

Pardon me for asking, but do you have Type 1 or Type 2. There is a very big difference

I think the point of the post is that he found what worked for him, not depending on a guide that may or may not be accurate depending on the chef of the day.

Myself, I can tell through experience what may or may not have a lot of carbs, proteins, or fats. If unsure, I can stay away or ask. I always take answers from anyone other than the chef with a grain of salt.

  4. Lol,  two different sets of responses.

Try the sauna and steam room since your so close, and you are steps away from good seats to outside activities on the lido. If it's a balcony, depending on the side, there may be people leaning over the railing just above you.

Unknowingly means it is booked on deck 11, which coincidentally contains the spa, and the poster just found that out.

No robe or slippers, sorry. You probably have your own those if you like these things.

I like that location on the conquest class, usually very quiet.

    Have a great cruise.

My understanding is South America and Cuba both require passports for cruise passengers

Cuba yes, I've been to cartegena a couple of times and haven't been told to bring my passport off the ship, nor been explicitly told we had to have it. I could have missed that though admittedly, I always travel with mine.

  6. It's a corner room, and the door was placed on the longside. I would imagine that the closet space and restroom doesn't crowd the door as it does in most cabins. My guess is that it's a basic interior, reconfigured. It'll probably appear more spacious, although square footage is probably the same.

Those room sometimes have a walk in restroom as in no step up) and shower also.

    Have a great trip.
