    That night photo is AMAZING!!!  I know right where you were when you took it - I live on the other side of the river. I never seemed to be near the river when they came thru but saw many photos after the fact.  None of the photos were as good as yours.

I can get into the app and view my next cruise, but all of the restaurants are gone, no entertainment, etc. I'm used to them messing up on the weekends, but my next cruise opens for check-in tomorrow and the cruise after that opens for dinner reservations on Sunday... fingers crossed they've got someone working on it, but it's after 6pm in Miami and the workweek is over, so...

     

    I thought it was just me.   I have been having problems all day.  Deleted and reloaded the app a couple times and that didn't help either.  Hopefully IT will get it fixed soon.

    We did this outside of the ship.  Just remember that ship time (arrival in particular) and Cabo excursion time are an hour different.  We missed the bus to get to the excursion (40 min. away) and had to hire a taxi to get there.

    Thanks for the head's up on the time.  We are planning on doing the ship excursion if we do this.

If you are still in Venice there is a nice dinner restaurant that is in what used to be a post office.   My friends and I were there twice during our stay, it had been recommended to us by semi locals. I would love to send you to this great corner shop we ate at for lunch but I don't remember all the twists and turns to get there from San Marco square.

  5. Thanks to all for the information and pictures of the Panama crossing and local excursions.  I am doing this again in Jan 2024 and I consider this thread as part of the research and a memory refresher   

     

    I crossed on the Disney Magic in 2008 and it is now so different with a larger ship (NCL Bliss), the new locks and an overnight in Panama.  When we went thru we were right behind a nuclear sub (amazing to follow that all day) and our bow decks were completely filled by 5am.  Some people camped out all night. The Mouse had a continental breakfast on deck for the early birds and a bbq on deck for lunch.   It was only the second year a Disney ship had crossed so even the crew was excited and running out on deck whenever they had a break.  The locals all came out to cheer us through as well.  Your decks look down right empty compared the that day.

    I would give it another couple days before you get concerned.  The offices were probably minimally staffed due to Jan 1 and 2 were possibly holidays for those staff members.

    Yes, I sent mine in using the link and this afternoon I received an email showing the credit applied and it popped up on my cruise planner.

    Now I am confused - does the request not work using the link or did you mean a confirmation would not generate if you use the link.
