Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. That night photo is AMAZING!!! I know right where you were when you took it - I live on the other side of the river. I never seemed to be near the river when they came thru but saw many photos after the fact. None of the photos were as good as yours.
  2. If you ask nicely they would probably give you the recipe, though the batch size would be quite large.
  3. I thought it was just me. I have been having problems all day. Deleted and reloaded the app a couple times and that didn't help either. Hopefully IT will get it fixed soon.
  4. Enjoying your posts, please keep them coming (but not at the expense of not enjoying your cruise). Thanks for taking us along.
  5. I am going to swing this thread the other way - would someone share what is the bottled water that is included in the premium package? TIA
  6. Thanks for the head's up on the time. We are planning on doing the ship excursion if we do this.
  7. Considering this for our January trip and was wondering if anyone has any experiences to share.... TIA
  8. Since you said it may have been among a bunch of papers check all your tax documents for this year. You may have filed them all away together. i've heard of stranger thanks happening.
  9. If you are still in Venice there is a nice dinner restaurant that is in what used to be a post office. My friends and I were there twice during our stay, it had been recommended to us by semi locals. I would love to send you to this great corner shop we ate at for lunch but I don't remember all the twists and turns to get there from San Marco square. Thanks for a wonderful trip report.
  10. Just found this today and got all caught up. Thanks for doing this report (I'm loving it). It has not only brought up great memories but a desire to get back to Europe, specifically Italy. There is still so much to see and do there.
  11. Thanks to all for the information and pictures of the Panama crossing and local excursions. I am doing this again in Jan 2024 and I consider this thread as part of the research and a memory refresher I crossed on the Disney Magic in 2008 and it is now so different with a larger ship (NCL Bliss), the new locks and an overnight in Panama. When we went thru we were right behind a nuclear sub (amazing to follow that all day) and our bow decks were completely filled by 5am. Some people camped out all night. The Mouse had a continental breakfast on deck for the early birds and a bbq on deck for lunch. It was only the second year a Disney ship had crossed so even the crew was excited and running out on deck whenever they had a break. The locals all came out to cheer us through as well. Your decks look down right empty compared the that day. Thanks again.
