I sent you and others, the names of friends who are boarding today. Take good care of them!

Great report! You answered a lot of questions. May I assume that this is the same Jacko that we have enjoyed on a few cruises?
-
It is not all up to them! They are interested in lots of things. Enjoy!

You could...[emoji4][emoji568]!
-
There used to be a policy that you could get/off at will. The trip had to be a minimum of 5 nights. Worth exploring!

If you want to treat yourself well, book a hotel in Florence, have the hotel pick you up and return you to the ship next day. Do some research ( the fun part) to see what you refuse to miss! You cannot see it all!! Make list of the sites, see if they have timed entry tickets, pass that list to the hotel also and your tix will be ready when you arrive! Enjoy. Don't forget to include some cafe-sitting time. Be very careful of gypsies and pickpockets.

It isn't about the kid[emoji6]. Must have been pretty crowded at the monkey farm today!
-
Listen carefully for the All Aboard horn, rung 1/2 hr. Prior to sailing time. If you hear it, someone is late and the Captain is NOT happy![emoji4][emoji172][emoji568]

In the summer, Formal night on a 7 night cruise is waived, Alaska, Caribbean for sure. Don't remember the Med. be prepared, sometimes they surprise you!
-
The 2nd night out, if @sea, is the Captain's Welcome. Menu a little more upscale but if something else interests you, go for it!
-
Actually, I think any of the venues would love to get such a crowd in @ 7!

We had a connection cancelled in Amsterdam ((SS ) Business. SS put us on the train to Copenhagen (I think it was). Very comfy and a beautiful ride. I got to see a countryside that I could have missed!

TravelGuard, covers my pre-existing so.

Interesting. We were on that segment also. Did any of you. Sign up for a CC Meet 'n Mingle? I signed up for 3, as did others. None of them occurred, nor if they did, I wasn't invited![emoji53]. I was looking forward to meeting you all.

People who cruise frequently do eat smartly. If the (frequent floaters) FFers ate it all and drank it all, cruising would not be as pleasant! You can also have your butler deliver your snacks to bar![emoji4]

I am not crazy about those who need 2 sun beds...one in the sun, one in the shade!
-
I have heard that there is a Social Media person who scans stuff daily. Do not know if that is true, but I like the idea.
-
Form your own opinions! My experiences are good, bad and mediocre. Tried all comparable lines, they all have their issues. Find what works for you!
-
If you are sensitive to either anchor noise or movement. Midship and low are your best options. Enjoy!

Is it important? What about service? Why should they give me a piece of their commission?

Sounds like we are missing a good one. Life is very good on the Wind also. [emoji6][emoji568]. Please give Mark our greetings! Keep enjoying. I am always interested.

You can also go to the Ports Thread and see what has been done in the past. No prices 'tho.

Stumblefoot, tracking me are you?! [emoji6][emoji568]I know I have been remiss about posting but it will get done over the next 2 weeks. We have been on the larger ships for a few years. I forgot how much I loved the Wind, warm, cozy and great crew. We have already booked the holidays on the Wind this year. What is not to like? OK, the bathrooms are small. Who goes on a cruise because of the bathrooms?! If this ship is not satisfactory, you do not like to cruise! P.S. I do not like the decor either. Would that send me to SB, Regent, Cunard or whomever? Nope. Please try it and form your own opinion! Bon Voyage!

Le Select is a good value with nice people. I have never ordered a burger since they have lovely French dishes. The goat cheese salad with warm lardon dressing is making me want to go to the kitchen and eat goat cheese![emoji4][emoji238][emoji241][emoji486][emoji485]. We were on the Wind over the holidays. It made me remember how much I like the 2 smaller Grand Dames.
