Hubby and I recently cruised on the MSC Meraviglia and found our experience a bit different than other reviews we’ve read recently. Below is our Day 1 boarding vlog. We were on a 7 night with check in time of 11:00. I’ll add the others as we post them. Let me say- Getting on the ship was much better than getting off and not for the reasons you might think.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi all,
We have a back to back coming up where we will need to leave the port between cruises. Has anyone done this before? We will need to get off with the early walk-off guest so that we can drive to the airport and come back. Wondering how they will do this since typically we have just met in a room and walked off as a group with other back2backs. This time we will need to get off early vs. being the last group off. Anyone have experience with this?
thanks!

Hmmmm. My last name is hyphenated and I had a problem getting my loyalty number added to my cruise. There was just a lot of wacky stuff with the website but we had a great time. Already booked another MSC ship. Interested to see if we still enjoy it as much with a larger crowd. 🙂

Just got back from our first sailing on MSC Divina and loved her! The occupancy was lower on this 7-day cruise which made it perfect. Check our our ship tour - we are also doing a full review and cabin tour.

For those that like to see what the food/service is like while waiting for your cruise date - check out our video below. What do you think of our likes/dislikes? If you’ve been to Emerils on/off ship what were your thoughts? We were surprised the food was kinda bland.

Before we went on the Mardi Gras we had heard that some people thought the bathrooms may be too small or the balconies too small for people of size. I found them to be comfortable and I was worried for no reason. Check out the video below to see how I “fit” in some of those spaces. Happy sailing!

Thank you for sharing & love your review and looking forward for more. . We will be on MG later this month your review is so helpful but not looking forward for a FULL SHIP. We had been on 2 cruises since re-start and love being on a ship with 1/2 capacity.
Enjoy your cruise.
I’ll give you a quick preview of my final thoughts - we have already booked another cruise on this ship! Honestly I think they handled the increased capacity fairly well and I’m sure it will be even better later this month. 😁

We will definitely have more. We have a cabin tour, activities, entertainment, food - etc. I'll post them as we complete them. 🙂

Hi all!
We are back again! We just returned from our Carnival Cruise on the Mardi Gras and have a lot to say. As always we are going to share our boarding day, food, cabin tour etc vlogs with you. Please be on the look out for our overall cruise review. I will have some surprising things to say. We mostly cruise RCL but decided to give Carnival another whirl with their biggest/newest ship.
Thanks!!

It’s pretty hard to find accessible stateroom tours so I tried to be as in-depth as possible. Hope this is helpful. Thanks! 😀

Hubby an I just came back from our cruise on Symphony of the Seas. We went with his parents and had a fantastic time. We tried to document everything from the room to the entire ship, food, ports and put it together for a in-depth vlog. Hopefully some will find the info helpful or just fun to watch while waiting for their next cruise. I was worried I’d be overwhelmed by the ships size but I wasn’t, it’s now one of my top 5 cruises! 😀

We had about 300 people leave the Oasis early when it was announced the cruise would be extended for Irma. They either had work commitments or wanted to prepare their Florida homes for the storm.
They had to pay their own way home, not sure if they got refunded anything for leaving early.
Ok gotcha. I’m wondering about for cruises that haven’t left but might have to be extended. If they know in advance can we cancel.

In the case of Irma on the Oasis in 2017 it was announced pretty early that the cruise was going to be extended. We inquired about staying on for the following shortened cruise but there was no information for a couple of days. If my memory is correct, they opened up the shortened sailing around Saturday. Prices were very good but cabins were sold as guarantees as they were not sure who would make the next sailing.
We were on a budget so we chose an inside. We kinda hoped they would upgrade us as we are Pinnacle. They assigned us to the smallest inside cabin on the ship - ha ha.
In hindsight, we should have splurged for a Crown Loft.
Lou
Question - did they give you an option to cancel if you didn’t want to go on the extended cruise?
