I believe it was on the port side. 

Oakman58 - we saw Pricilla Queen of the Desert and loved it. I know some people have not enjoyed the subject matter but frankly I wanted to be part of the show! Hahaha. Great story, costumes, dancing and singing. Definitely a step up from the typical cruise ship show.

The answer is yes. You can bring it on the ship, through the airport or in your car. I take my camp chair which is the size of a golf club bag when folded on every cruise. I use it on the balcony. Never had any issues with any cruise line we’ve been on. In the airport it’s considered oversized but this is bigger than your standard chair at Walmart.

Hi all - quick question.

Is there a place to temporarily drop off luggage you walked onto the ship? Would prefer not to carry it around until cabins are ready and it's not something I want to check at the pier.

I just got my exception figured out with the access desk. In bold red letters it says DO NOT PUT IN CHECKED BAGGAGE.

For those that have received the liquid policy exemption were you able to leave it in your checked luggage? I'm planning to tape my exemption to it but wanted to know if anyone had actually tried this recently.

Has anyone had luck getting a bigger table to use in their room/on deck? I was hoping to paint on my balcony and need a taller/bigger table than the little one currently on the balcony.

Kids pool - closes at 6pm

Main pool - closes at 8pm

Solarium pool - closes at 10

Hot tubs were listed as 24- hours.

I'm all for the lifeguards but would like a swim at your own risk option for the solarium pool after 10. This was pretty disappointing.

Will NCL send another upgrade offer as it gets closer to the sale date and there are still a good bit of empty cabins. We'd like to try to bid on an upgrade but feel the starting bid is too high.

Just wondering if they ever send out another email with lower starting bids if they have cabins available.

Oh shoot! I wish they didn't show them on the deck plans. We picked our room so that we would at least be close to those stairs. Yikes!

You mentioned there are no Aft stairs. On the deck plans there appear to be stairs near 7646 near the back of the ship. Are these stairs inaccessible?

The prices on our November cruise have dropped over $500pp for a balcony. Not sure if that's normal for the week after Thanksgiving. If so I would wait to book until closer to the cruise date.

Yes, the will bring you another chair if requested. They are pretty accommodating.

We sailed her last Thanksgiving and all the mattresses were new. The complaints you heard were the mattresses were hard, very hard. You have to ask your Stu for extra comforters for softness so you aren't sleeping on a brick.

Thanks. That's very unfortunate. We have asked for egg crate mattress toppers before but they only provided extra comforters as you mention. Might try to find something we can bring to help.

Having been on serenade within the past 5 years I wasn't worried until I read numerous reviews about the beds. There were enough reviews that were good/bad that mentioned the bedding enough that is sounded like a real issue.

I've been seeing reviews that the mattresses and pillows are in desperate need of replacement. Since we will be on the ship for 10 nights I'm hoping for a comfortable bed.

From RCL's response I took that to mean they were replacing the bedding.
