  1. Is $1200 worth for the following benefits for 14 days (with many sea days) Larger room Free Room Service Luminae Michaels Club Any other benefits I'm missing? Blu taste pretty ok, is Luminae much better?
  2. Saying cruise was free but has retail value of 11k. If I paid 1.2k to upgrade or so, it would be a diff of 5k in value if I upgraded with cash.
  3. Its for 14 nights and upgrade is relatively cheap if I can get it near min bid. AquaSuite is about 17k vs AQ at 11-12k. A lot of sea days on Antarctica Cruise, 10 Sea days and 5 port days.
  4. Haven't tried retreat before on Celebrity, 14 days, bigger room I'm leaning towards go for it. My S/O asking me to hold back and save $$ for a new toilet, but it's like a once in a lifetime. I think better to ask for forgiveness.
  5. Currently in a Aqua Class Balcony Room, it's actually cheaper/lower min bid for Aqua Sky Suite vs Regular Sky Suite.
  6. What other benefits in the room? Is it identical in terms of shower bathroom/layout?
  7. Going to Antarctica on a 14 day cruise and received the move-up email today. Was somehow comped 14 days in Aqua Class Room with Drinks, Internet, and Gratuity Already Included - Taxes and Fees were $800 for 2. Booked all my excursions during July 4th Sale for half off and spent about a total of $2000 on excursions - also applied my share holder benefits for $250 OBC. Received move-up offer today, is it worth $600 Per Person to upgrade to AquaClass Sky Suite for 14 days? I've upgraded before on both RCL and CCL and I know the process, I feel that under $50/per person per day is worth it since there's so many Sea days on this sailing. I've never sailed retreat class and tried Luminae, how does it compare to Blu? Was recently on RCL and felt that Coastal Kitchen really went down the drain. Currently in the process of closing on a house and trying to save $$ for renovations and this sailing would occur right after I move - was about to cancel the cruise, but felt that it would be criminal to do so on such a great deal. If I wasn't closing on a home and trying to save, I would probably bid on the Royal Suite.
  8. Anyone know the general cost of move up for 14 night sailings? I'm going on the Eclipse to Antarctica this winter and its still over 100+ days away, just wondering if anyone has move-up on a 12-14 day sailing and if it is usually a good deal. Currently in Aquaclass so hoping to move to a Sky/Celebrity Suite
  9. I see the dining experience, but could you pick/choose anything off the menu? Would you happen to have Le Grille's dining experience menu?
  10. Much appreciated - did you use diamond dinner on any of the restaurants? I'm glad they revamped Kaito's dining experience... wonder how Le Grille and L'Atelier Du Voyageur compare
  11. Is it included for Europe/Asia Sailings? Or is it based on where it is booked
  12. I meant the Thermal suite, I'm sailing out of europe/asia, so I guess its included there.
  13. Doesn't the upgrade to Yacht Club pay for itself? Premium Drink Package - 500 PP Internet - $150 PP Gratuity - $150 PP Spa - $100 PP Upgraded Dining & Amenities As long as it doesn't cost over $1000 per person per state room isn't this a steal? Am I missing something? Does Yacht Club Benefit not apply when you win an upgrade (Celebrity does this).
  14. Tasting Menu for BC at $59 appears to be the most expensive of the tasting menu experiences.
  15. Booked YC - will be going Fall 2024 in Dubai. Was status matched to Diamond, both me and my fiance. What should we use our benefit on, I think everyone is recommending Butcher's cut but is there anything else that we should try?
  16. What is Butcher's cut tasting menu like. Will be going on Euribia next year... how is Yacht Club steak compared to BC? Should I use the Diamond benefit on something else instead if steak is similar?
  17. Have you been on Euribia YC in particular? I know it just came out not too long ago. What's the best part and how much better is Suite Dining compared to regular.
  18. Actually they lowered the flat upgrade price to $3200 total. Would you take an MSC Euribia Cruise to Dubai 7 days for $3200... I want to compare it to the Crown Loft Suite on Royal, but it also includes drinks/suite dining/internet which is usually around $10k+... too bad the duplex doesn't have floor to ceiling windows though.
  19. I am comped on a MSC Euribia Balcony room next year for Dubai - the retail cost of this room is about $2000. I am offered to upgrade to Yacht Club Duplex with Whirlpool at $1700 per person, is it worth it? The retail value of this cost is about $8000. The upgrade discount is to pay $3400 for a $8000 room, $4600 discount. How are the Yacht Clubs for newer ships... Are the amenities worth it? There is 1 over night in Dubai and 1 Over Night in Abu Dhabi, so I feel like I will be off the ship a lot and not enough to enjoy the benefits. Yacht Club Includes Premium Drink + Internet + Suite Dining, which I think is worth about $1000 out of pocket per person, so really is the room upgrade worth $700 per person...
  20. Hoping that Celebrity replaces the Eclipse with Apex, Edge, or Beyond for Antarctica cruise before sailing but most likely not happening :D.
  21. Going on eclipse for Antarctica season 2024 was on eclipse 2022 and was a bit disappointed with the age/old feel of the ship. It had thick TVs and rooms felt old. Just getting back from the Apex and hoping that it’ll get a dry dock before my cruise. Anyone know?
  22. Does this only affect Carnival/Princess cruises? First time in Alaska and just saw this. I'm on Celebrity in 1 week
