  1. I've never done YTD so I can't say on the waitlist, but if you end up having to choose a set time, we usually do early. It's easier if you have kids. We did late one time and our son would fall asleep by the end of dinner and you miss the early family drive in movie. It's easier to do late if you don't have kids, but you might need to eat somewhat quickly if you want to catch one of the comedy or stage shows.

  2. Congrats on your first cruise, the Breeze was one of my favorite ships to sail on.

If you do the sit down dinner each night, you'll sit in the same place each night and have the same waiters and waitresses so you'll get to know them and they do a great job of getting to know everyone by name and their drink and food habits. For instance they'll learn that I sometimes like to order a manhattan with dinner and ask if I'd like one, and they'll learn my son like sprite and be ready with one.

The gratuity charge will cover everything. Some people will tip extra with cash at dinner on the last night, but it is certainly not expected.

I bought a spa pass a few months ago during a Spa sale and saved 15%.  So YES, there are sales 🙂

same, carnival sent me an email with a 20% off code for spa treatments around April, so if you still have time till your cruise you might get one

  4. I remember the dance club will usually have a ladies get free sparkling wine thing on embarkation night.

One the second night I think, Alchemy will have a Guess the Martini thing where you can spend around $20 or less and get to try 4 of their martinis.

Other than that, buying a bottle of liquor from the funshop before the cruise starts is probably the cheapest deal on alcohol.

    Hello,

Has anybody had any luck using this offer to purchase cruise cash?  I saw a few earlier comments from people doing so but I don't remember them coming back to say if it was a success or not.  Our cruise is in 2 weeks so I would love to take advantage of the offer instead of purchasing more AARP gift cards.

Please share your experience if you used this offer on something besides a regular payment.

    THANK YOU!

This hasn't worked in the past for me. I think the important thing is that the charge on your card show up as "CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE RSVR" for it to apply.

Listen to the Carnival cheerleaders call for following rules, lol!!!  They are my favorite cruise line, but can someone post here how well CARNIVAL follows rules in respect to environmental RULES????  Something about calling the kettle black...…..Now that the idiots are called out and laid down, please, don't do as Carnival does.  Or do.  Listen, sharing alcoholic drinks isn't kosher, EVEN THOUGH they make you purchase Cheers even if you don't drink because your cabin mate wants it.  Common sense.  Don't exploit it.  Don't leave evidence trails, much like the trash trails Carnival leaves.  Share the damn shake.  Don't share 12 of them.  When these Carnival advocates can clean up, literally, Carnival's TRASH, they can start preaching.

I'm not saying you're main point is wrong or anything because I mostly agree with it, especially the nuance, but this isn't great logic to use for it. Nor is the hostility and name calling. You're pretty much saying kids don't have to listen to their parents because their dad ran a red light once last week.
