I don't think so, is this why rates have increased so much? I don't like subsidizing those that cruise free and only pay taxes and fees. Per your thinking then everyone should pay full price for cursing and maybe rates would go down for the rest of us. Problem with this new model gratuities do not go to those that give you exceptional service. I liked it years ago when we gave it to those who we thought deserved it. Now they say it even goes to teams - what teams????

We really liked the ship itself but did not like all the kids running amuck, moving stuff off cabin doors and running down the halls. I think over 400 on this very small ship . Suites on deck 8 are right under the pools have lots of noise day and night and the departure process or lack there of was not to great. Oh and a lot of the Junior Suites have Support Poles so be sure to check your cabin to see if there is one in It, the pole is padded but I did run into our pole several times during trips to bath room.

Ok thanks, they did not announce that people had tested positive for it on our ship or we might have been tested on the ship My Wife and I were both sick the last two days of the BTB and stayed in our Cabin but did not consider it to be Covid as we have been on 8 cruises since the start up and this was our first time to get sick - just luck I guess but first time not to be tested between cruises on our other BTB. Just wondering if anyone else got sick on the Grandeur of the Seas on the June 1st sailing and tested positive for Covid on the ship or when they returned home????
