I saw that Crown Grill and Sabatini's items were available in OceanNOW to be delivered to ones room or to any public area on the ship, although only during the times when those restaurants are normally open.

Thank you!  I'm traveling solo and sometimes I want the yummy food without sitting alone in public.

The room service menu is also available on the television.  That's the way I ordered it on the Majestic and Ruby over the last couple of months.  On the Ruby, you could order a la carte from Crown Grill or Sabbatinis as well.

    Were you in a suite?

I can't remember how many time I've seen people dump a handful of those nuts in one hand, select what they wanted & pour the rest back in the bottle.

I'm almost certain they didn't dispose of all those half empty bottles later on.

Perhaps handing out small individual packets would be the answer.

🤢 That is just disgusting.  Cruise Foul!

We were on the Majestic 12/4.  We had Group A boarding, arrived at 11:15 am, walked up to check in, the person checked our passport, covid card, negative covid test paperwork.  The ship was ready for us to board.  Our room was ready, view the muster drill on t.v., found the muster check in (this is the way Princess check to make sure you viewed the video).  We walked around Lido deck because the main dining room did not open until noon, had a great salmon entree in a quiet setting.  Great way to start a cruise vacation.  We returned to our room about 12:45 pm, our luggage was already in our room.  Our cruise was 40% capacity.  Majestic is a beautiful ship.  The Harmony and Crown Grill were wonderful.

Thank you for all the details.  Are you Elite, Suite, or steerage like me?  😆

If you were on same cruise as me to Caribbean and you were also Elite or in a Suite, I would definitely recommend following the Group A time to a "T".  The less folks in competition for the Sanctuary, the better.  😁

Ha ha!  I see!  You'll be glad to know I'm neither Elite nor fancy enough for a suite!  I also am not interested in the Sanctuary.  I don't see what all the hubbub is about.  I do like the look of those fluffy cushions, though. 😉

They were annoyed to have to wait because they wanted to book for a whole week and felt they should have priority.

My husband made the point that maybe something really stressful happened to their group before embarkation... it's possible, I just felt bad that passengers had been on for 20 minutes and the crew was already being hassled. He took it in stride though.

    Luggage was just dropped off!

I'm on the CB Jan. 2 for my first Princess cruise ever.  What's so great about the Sanctuary?  I must be missing something.  It looks like there is little to no shade.  And I can get food/drinks delivered anywhere on the ship to anyplace I'm sitting/lounging, right?  I have a balcony cabin...maybe people with inside rooms book the Sanctuary?  What's the attraction?  TIA

Well, since you laid the gauntlet down, I have been known to need a seat belt extender on certain flights, but I have never crashed on a cruise at 700 pm or for 12 hours.

Sid_1969 I have never needed a seat belt extender, but I'm "fluffy".  When you make derogatory comments about fat people it always surprises me.  I love reading your posts and feel like you're a chill guy-this fat shaming seems beneath you. I'm glad you're home safe and I hope you get your mojo back ASAP.

  9. Hi CCers!

Does anybody have any pics of these staterooms?  Or a good description of the differences?  I have only been on one cruise before (Celebrity) and the deck plan pics are incongruent with the comments I've seen.  Some say triangle, some say no balcony just windows, some say bad/some say good...my mind is reeling.  Best bet was to go to the experts!

Thank you...I really appreciate any help!

  10. "- I think I read that the buffet at the moment is run like a regular restaurant and has the same food as the MDR. So what is the difference between them (other than dress code/location)?"

Can anyone confirm that they are serving the same food at KC as they are in the MDR?

  11. Hi CCers!  So I impulsively booked my first cruise ever yesterday for a C1 aft room on the Summit for NEXT WEEK!😬  I know nothing about how things go.

-Can I ask that the mini-fridge (do I have a mini-fridge?) be stocked with just things I like?  I have no use for beer or wine, but vodka is always a good idea!

-Can I order cocktails to be delivered to my stateroom so I can sip on the verandah before dinner?

-Is there a place I can find a room service menu?

    Thanks so much.

  12. I found a set of four skinny long tags on eBay for $5 including shipping.  I'm flying in to the port, so I don't want to attach them before I leave home.  This way, I won't have to bug the hotel for a stapler.

The older I get, the more I'm willing to pay for peace of mind!  😂
