How can I perform a search just within a single thread?

Looking for a pre-cruise Barcelona hotel, probably for 2 nights. I've got status with Hyatt and Marriott, so I like to stay at their properties when possible. Any feedback, good or bad, on these options? We don't need high-end luxury - just a nice, comfortable hotel that's convenient to transportation and sights. Thanks!
Hyatt:
Hotel Bagues
Grand Hotel Central
Wittmore Hotel
Claris Hotel & Spa
Marriott:
Le Meridien Barcelona
Cotton House
Renaissance Barcelona
The Barcelona EDITION
AC Hotel Irla
Hotel Arts Barcelona
W Barcelona

Fascinating! I've never heard of this before. Thanks for clarifying. @Septemberbride07, we may well cross paths for a few days!

I'm super confused - help please! We are looking at taking a European cruise next summer (2024). There's a 7-night Spain, France & Italy cruise we are looking at. It leaves from Barcelona on June 16. On day 5 (June 20), it stops in Rome. Here's where I get confused - there is a separate itinerary for a 7-night Spain, France & Italy cruise on the same ship (Oasis) that leaves from Rome on June 20. On day 4 of that cruise (June 23), it stops in Barcelona, where there is a separate itinerary for the SF&I cruise leaving out of Barcelona beginning June 23. This repeats for multiple sailings.
Can anyone explain what's going on here? Are they going to debark half the ship in Rome/Barcelona and then board half of a new set of passengers at those stops?

Hello! I know these questions get old, but I've looked back through posts and didn't see anything posted on this since Covid. We are sailing on Liberty out of Port Canaveral next week, with an arrival window of 9:30-10. Will the ship be ready for boarding that early? Or are we likely to have a long wait until we can board? (Put more simply, what time does Liberty generally start boarding?) While I'm at it . . . what time have cabins generally been open lately? Thanks!

We are looking at booking a day pass for Margaritaville for our cruise next week. I've seen mentions of Resortpass on these boards - that is showing Margaritaville day passes sold out for our date, but the website Resort for a Day shows availability. Is Resort for a Day legit? Should I be worried that they are showing availability when Resortpass does not? Or do different companies just get different allotments of day passes to sell?

Sure! You can use this link (https://oceanplayersclub.com/contact/) and fill out a request for information on a specific question. Or <casino@carnival.com>.
Same group just different options. They have been slow to respond since the restart but it's worth a try. Thanks for posting that link. I submitted a request and got confirmation back within a couple of hours.

Sorry for another post, but since my original question on Drinks on Us Everywhere had been answered, I didn’t think anyone would scroll to the bottom of the thread to see my new questions…
I called Carnival to confirm the Drinks on Us was showing up on my reservation. It is, but the woman said that only I would get DOU, since I was the casino player who got the offer. My sister, who is in my cabin, is out of luck. Is that right/typical? The agent I spoke with didn’t seem super knowledgeable, so thought I’d double check with the experts here.
Also, will my sister be able to buy Cheers without me having to buy it also (since usually both people in a cabin have to buy Cheers)? I looked at it online in our Cruise Manager, and buying it online would force both of us to buy it. Wondering if she alone can buy it if we buy onboard.
thanks!

Revising my question a bit, because I don’t think I asked it very well. When we’ve had Cheers in the past, they’ve put a little sticker on our card to show we had that drink package. Will we get something similar with Drinks on Us Everywhere? And if so, where do we go to get that sticker?

Hi - we are cruising on Liberty on Monday. We booked through a casino offer that included “drinks on us everywhere” (not just in the casino). How do we “cash that in” to start using it as soon as we board?

don't book a massage until on board. When you're on board, look for the "ladies pamper party" even if you're a guy, go to it. They drop the 75 minute massage down to $100.
I’m just worried about waiting, because my sister want to book 2 of them, back to back, on a specific day - so I’m worried those appointments will get taken if we wait. (But thanks for the tip!!)

How frequently does Carnival offer sales on spa treatments? I booked massages for my sister and me for our cruise in mid-July during the Mother’s Day weekend sale, only to realize later that I had booked for the wrong day 🤦🏻♀️. Wondering if I’ve got any hope of another sale coming along before our cruise.

I know Wonder vs Odyssey has been debated to death, but please humor me here! We are considering both of those ships for Spring Break 2023, and we'll be taking our 16-year-old son and a friend of his. I'm very familiar with the differences between the two ships, but based ONLY on which ship you think 2 17-year-old boys would enjoy more, which would you pick?

I know the casino is usually closed while a ship is docked, but I wasn’t sure if the rule was different at Princess Cays, since it’s cruise-owned. I also came across a Princess cruise review from February that mentioned their casino was open while they were at Princess Cays, so wondering if Carnival’s might be too.

Forgive this super basic question . . . we bought the Cheers package online. Do they still put stickers on your Sail and Sign card to show you have the package? If so, where should we go to get our stickers? Thanks!

I don’t know the ins and outs, but these particular Carnival gift cards aren’t resold gift cards but are sold directly from Raise. There’s no discount on them (as is usually the case with resold cards), other than getting the Raise Cash back. And, since they are e-gift cards, you can use them immediately.
-
I don't know if this has already been posted about here, but just in case . . . I just discovered that you can buy Carnival gift cards on the website raise.com. You get 10% back in "Raise Cash," which you can use to buy other gift cards on their site. The gift cards are e-gift cards, and you can specify the exact amount that you want to buy. It was super easy! Oh, and raise.com participates in Ebates - only 1% cash back as of now, but every little bit helps!

I commonly sail Royal Caribbean, which often has sales on pre-cruise purchases, like drink packages, internet packages and shore excursions (and yes, I know that the "sale" price is often not much better than the original price). Does Carnival ever have sales on those types of items? If we, for example, buy the drink package now, and then a cheaper price becomes available, are we able to cancel the drink package for a refund, and then re-buy it at the lower price?
Many thanks!

Thank you everyone!!

I’m so sorry - I know this has been asked 100 times, but I’m having a horrible time searching the forums on the ship’s WiFi. We are on Radiance on the ultimate dining package. Are gratuities included, or should we tip as if we are paying full price? Or - are gratuities are included, but we should leave a little extra to be generous? Thanks!!!

We are spending a day and a half in Vancouver before heading out on an Alaska cruise. We plan to use our credit card as much as we can, but I’d like to have a small amount of Canadian dollars for tipping and small purchases - maybe 50 Canadian dollars? What’s the best way to get Canadian dollars at a reasonable exchange rate? ATM? Thanks!

We are heading to Alaska next month! One of our stops is Icy Strait Point, where we plan to do a whale watching tour through Hoonah Whale Tours from 9:30am-1pm, and then do the Ziprider through Royal Caribbean at 2pm. We are not a group that does well skipping meals, so I'm looking for somewhere quick and near the pier to grab lunch in between our excursions. Any suggestions?

What do you mean by "search bubble"? On my laptop screen, I see a magnifying glass in the corner. If I click on that, I can search, but I don't see an option to only search a specific thread . . .
