SS has added quite a few ships in the recent past.  With Covid decreasing the available staff pool for hire and the veterans being spread too thinly among the ships just wondering if that’s part of the problem.  Seems to be more than a few training issues at work here.  Too rapid growth can certainly affect corporate culture.

New staff wasn’t the issue on the Nova on 12/19, mge overpromised amenities that took  up staff time ie room service stuff, that took away from main dining!

Still waiting for our visa's  We leave in 6 days(MAYBE)...very frustrating.

    has anyone received their visas????

    Boatie

Returned call to NCL about visa issue & Daniel said hundreds still waiting and nothing Regency (NCL ) could do! Since they obviously have contacted the BZ Embassy (financial affidavit) suggested they forward BRA evisa app numbers by departure dates. Reply: can’t help!

maybe RSSC(NCL) looks at this as a way to boost profitability being able to redirect the problem at Brazil and if ship sails with 50% those pax will think service is superior to others!

  3. Our cruise was exactly like MBP. Also Note food was mass produced Duck “meatball” & mayo ceviche. That said personnel busting their butts. New Years Eve celebration had 100 balloons totally unsecured after “Midnight drop” many went overboard and we picked up 23 @ 7 am 1/1 and secured in Constellation lounge so they wouldn’t blow overboard and kill wildlife. When I complained was told balloons were biodegradable 😰

  5. We applied 12/2 my husband received his 12/8 . Mine is “Recommended by VFS” since 12/3 . I emailed 20 times seriously (they don’t understand or really read the issue. Using th VOIP Telerion phone is worthless! Super frustrating! No effective “help” from helpdesk!

My application status now shows “Under check”.  I share your frustration with this process.  You might consider trying the Chat function using your phone, however there was no one available to answer on their end when I tried it.

@cashmeremypuppydog I have a very similar situation and similar experience with my eVisa.  I applied on December 3 and had to upload some new documents a few days later and the application seems to have been in limbo ever since.  Today I received an email from VFS and the status now shows “Quality control completed”.  Apparently the application has transition from VFS to a review by Brazilian authorities now.  I am hopeful it will be approved soon.

    Good luck!

I received Quality control complete 12-3 and still havent received the visa. Do you have any other contact info ? Brazilevisa@vfsglobal.com (6 times) ,they give case # and 24 hr response time but nada! Frustrated

Hi all.  We are so excited to board the Pursuit. My Seabourn source app updated today.  I noticed the itinerary listed has been altered. It has us staying overnight in Manaus and leaving Wednesday at about 3 pm. It also has pushed back Paratins and Alter da Chao as well as 1 less Amazon experience day. I am flexible and ok with this but just wondering if we know why the change?

Probably inbound pax issue with flights delayed or cancelled using Seabourn air.

  9. Interesting change ….what timestamp protocol is acceptable?
