  1. Such a silly question, but......would like to know how many bags a taxi can take in their trunks? Normal large ones. And if not possible to fit our bags in the trunk, can 1 out of the three of us sit up front? Don't know if they have "rules" about this. We will be docking on Sept 23 and will need to get to LGA by 10ish for a noon flight. We will have priority disembarkation so that should help getting there in time. I hope [emoji4]

  2. Just made my cruise payment 6/6. Checked my transactions since last statement today and was not rewarded double points. Called 866-928-3106 and a manager (Janeeka) answered and immediately added the missing points. Maybe if anyone wants to call today will get some good service

Thank you so much for that phone number. It is not one I had. I called and they also rectified my account to reflect the proper points. Kudos to you :D

  3. Hello! Wow ..what a great thread. Thanks.

Someone mentioned crossing over to Sweden to see the landscape. We will be arriving September 10th on the Regal Princess. My question is: are there independent tour operators at the cruise port who do that sort of thing? And are the costly??? Do they take credit cards? Oops...More than 1 question. 4. Could you let me know how you liked this cabin? We have it booked for Sept 2017 partial canal cruise.

It was totally awesome. We were able to reach out and stretch our arms and actually touch the canal wall. No complaints at all. Typical mini suite. If you go down one deck and out the back door, you will have an awesome view and nobody out there either. No chairs though. Enjoy!!!

  5. We stayed at the Scandic for 2 nights before our Baltic cruise in May [booked through Princess]. Our room was a good size -- clean and comfortable. The following picture from the hotel website is exactly what our room looked like [family standard plus room]:

It wasn't the Ritz but nicer than many "budget" hotels in the US. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom! The included breakfast was one of the best we've ever had --

The location was excellent -- we could walk everywhere. We had booked a free walking tour of Copenhagen for the afternoon of our arrival -- and we had no trouble checking in; getting some lunch at a nearby cafe, and walking to City Hall to meet up with the tour. Our flight arrived at 10:30 a.m. -- tour started at 2 pm. Our room was ready when we arrived. We even had time to watch some of the wedding parties coming out of City Hall.

The Princess desk in the lobby was open all day and their service was excellent. The hotel was full but we never had to wait for anything.

Thank you so much. Can I ask if it was just two of you?

  6. In reading Trip Advisor, I found many complaints for this hotel. Small rooms, long wait times at the front desk, broken toilet seats, ac didn't work, etc etc. Also many glowing reports.

Which makes me really wonder. The price is ok it seems compared to others in Copenhagen. But I really never got a sense of what size room Princess will provide.

  7. Hi! We had Princess book our hotel in Copenhagen. They are using the Scandic Copenhagen. In checking the hotel website, they have many different rooms. Has anyone stayed there through Princess and if so, what kind of room did you get? Also, your opinion on the hotel would be appreciated.
