We did the Oslo pre-extension with the train ride to Bergen and would not recommend it. The Radisson Hotel was okay but not impressive, the included tour was a visit to the sculpture park that was too long although we enjoyed the maritime museums. We had time on our own to visit a beautiful church and shop a little but we could not do a local fjord cruise due to the length of the included tour which wasn’t great. The train to Bergen has some beautiful scenery but it was a 7 hour journey and the train was not at all clean - very disappointed at how filthy the seats and seat tray were. I would suggest flying to Bergen instead and spending more time there rather than Oslo.
