I had assumed everyone would understand what I mean when I said carnival is cheap. Seeing the quotes, that doesn't appear to be the case.
So in simpler terms
I leave whatever fee's and auto tip are on there. I don't look at those as a tip for the hard workers, they don't get removed.
I tip when on the ship, in cash. -
Since carnival's cheap method of paying those that work hard on the ship for some reason is labeled as a Tip (or auto-gratuity) I consider those just cost of the item/cruise and not a tip.
Then tip as I would normally based on service. So yes, technically

2 less restaurants, 400 more people (guessing, about 100 more cabins)
I'd say they figure the current capacity can be expanded without any problems in bookings.
Maybe it's by design to keep the current "free" dining options in place, but get more via bookings. Or it's a double dip, more people, and more paid dining for improved margins -
The aft junior suite is actual very nice. The balcony is different, but the room layout and bathroom layout are way better then a standard room. Plus you get priority on/off ship and other suite perks.
I'll go on carnival's site, and request a PVP, the PVP will call you. I found this to be a much easier way then waiting on hold for hours on end.

Does carnival have this information posted anywhere official?
I prefer to have some paperwork to take along as there's been too many times things get changed / altered and what was included or was free was not the case when on the ship.

Good info shof515
Found this post that shows Taino Bay's new area -
Can someone other then the names listed when purchased use one of the tests (6 tests, family of 4, but only 3 names can be listed when purchasing)
Is there an additional charge when you do the test, or is that included in the price of purchase? -
When I go to checkout it says "Purchasing this product requires approval from a medical professional."
And then that it requires a prescription
Do they make that prescription? -
Safes use the Pin
Doors are not magnetic

Yes, but it was not the brand name version of it (last week)

Does the emed test meet the requirements?
How do you take a sample?
Self-collect your sample from home following the instructions provided during the video visit with an eMed Certified Guide

You can check in ahead of time, and change it if the others can't get the same time when you go to check them in.

Reduced only as they have to hold rooms just in case.
The CDC CSO and RVR outline the requirements for reserved rooms. Those rooms are for the isolation of any suspected, potential, or confirmed cases. For crew, each room must be single occupancy. https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/cruise/management/technical-instructions-for-cruise-ships.html -

Logic would say it should have been
Green - Yellow - Orange - Red
But nope, Green - Orange - Yellow - Red
Either a real issue - ok that part I can at least understand
But it could have been unrelated post cruise - getting sketchy here
OR an email was late - /sigh
And some wonder why nobody wants to listen to them -
It's likely because they didn't leave from a US port and in turn have to have the test to fly back into the US

Yes, the rooms where redone, new carpet added, fresh coat of paint, that's about all I can remember. They didn't add the USB ports to the lamps. They also removed the jacuzzi tubs from the suites and put in a regular tub. The arcade was moved and various other changes here and there.

Closed loop cruise requirements
https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-74?language=en_US
U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises will be able to enter or depart the country with proof of citizenship, such as an Enhanced Driver's License (EDL), a government-issued birth certificate (issued by the Vital Records Department in the state where he or she was born) or passport, and if 16 or older, a government issued driver's license, picture ID, denoting photo, name and date of birth.

The cruise lines spinning this "reduced capacity" bs is what ticks me off

Do you double tip?

True, they all are terrible like that. In my personal opinion, they should rename it to service fees, make it where it can't be removed and is always paid by all guests.
